    摘要: A variable capacity type compressor has a swash plate which can incline with respect to the drive shaft. An angle decreasing spring urges the swash plate to decrease the inclination angle and a return spring urges the swash plate to increase the inclination angle from the minimum inclination angle beyond the limit angle. The minimum inclination angle is smaller than a limit angle at which the swash plate can be assuredly returned in the direction to increase the inclination angle by a reaction force of the discharge pressure, and the angle decreasing spring balances with the return spring at an angle greater than the limit angle. A minimum spring load (F0) of the return spring is greater than 20N. A maximum spring load (F100) of the angle decreasing spring is F100(N)=(180±30)−4×(VD−120).

    摘要: A compressor includes swash plate, which is tiltably supported by a drive shaft. The displacement of the compressor changes in accordance with the inclination angle of the swash plate. The minimum inclination angle (&thgr;min) of the swash plate is less than three to five degrees relative to a plane perpendicular to the axis of the drive shaft. The swash plate can be moved from its minimum inclination to increase its angle, despite the small minimum inclination angle, due to a return spring, which urges the swash plate to increase the inclination angle. The return spring positively moves the swash plate in a direction increasing the inclination angle.

    摘要: A method for machining a variable displacement compressor piston. The piston is connected to a swash plate by a pair of semi-spherical shoes. One end of the piston has a slot for receiving the swash plate. The slot includes a pair of opposed walls. Each wall has a concave spherical recess for supporting one of the shoes. When forming the recesses, a tool having an asymmetrical spherical cutter is placed between the slot walls in the piston. Then, the piston is rotated about a machining axis that is perpendicular to the axis of the piston and intersects the midpoint between the walls. Then, the tool is moved such that the center of the cutter is located on the rotation axis of the piston. This forms the recesses on the walls such that the recesses conform to a single sphere, the center of which is located on the axis of the piston.
