    Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to use of a default communication configuration for cross carrier wireless communication. For example, a wireless communication device such as a user equipment (UE) may use a default communication configuration that includes quasi-colocation information (e.g., a default CORESET configuration) for communication on a secondary component carrier (SCC). The default communication configuration may be used, for example, in scenarios where a CORESET is not defined for the SCC and other configuration information is not available. For example, other configuration information might not be available due to a short time gap between a grant sent on a primary component carrier (PCC) and the communication on the SCC scheduled by the grant.

    Abstract: A UE includes: a transceiver; a memory; and a processor configured to: receive first and second discontinuous reception configurations for first and second discontinuous reception groups; receive first and second positioning signal configurations for first and second positioning signals associated with the first and second discontinuous reception groups, respectively; measure the first positioning signal during a first active time of the first discontinuous reception group; and measure the second positioning signal during a fixed second active time or during a variable third active time, the fixed second active time having a fixed duration of the second discontinuous reception group and the variable third active time having a variable duration of the second discontinuous reception group.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is transmits capability signaling information to a base station. The capability signaling information may be associated with a capability of the UE to maintain coherence and bundle demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) when a transmission is interrupted. The base station may receive a transmission from the UE having dropped symbols, may determine if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence over the dropped signals, and may utilize bundled DM-RS to decode the transmission if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting user equipment (UE) may receive different configurations for determining a first transmit power for data transmissions and a second transmit power for energy harvesting transmissions. The different configurations may include different parameters for determining (e.g., calculating) the first transmit power and the second transmit power. In some aspects, the transmitting UE may also receive an indication of the second transmit power from a receiving UE such that the second transmit power may be determined in accordance with the capabilities of the receiving UE (e.g., based on an energy harvesting circuit at the UE). The indication of the second transmit power may be an indication of one or more parameters used to determine (e.g., calculate) the second transmit power.
