Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to use of a default communication configuration for cross carrier wireless communication. For example, a wireless communication device such as a user equipment (UE) may use a default communication configuration that includes quasi-colocation information (e.g., a default CORESET configuration) for communication on a secondary component carrier (SCC). The default communication configuration may be used, for example, in scenarios where a CORESET is not defined for the SCC and other configuration information is not available. For example, other configuration information might not be available due to a short time gap between a grant sent on a primary component carrier (PCC) and the communication on the SCC scheduled by the grant.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is transmits capability signaling information to a base station. The capability signaling information may be associated with a capability of the UE to maintain coherence and bundle demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) when a transmission is interrupted. The base station may receive a transmission from the UE having dropped symbols, may determine if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence over the dropped signals, and may utilize bundled DM-RS to decode the transmission if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus mapping virtual resource blocks (VRBs) to physical resource blocks (PRBs) and using the mapping in wireless communications, for example, in new radio (NR) technologies. An exemplary method includes determining a first interleaved mapping that maps a first interleaving unit of N consecutive first virtual resource blocks (VRBs) to N consecutive first physical resource blocks (PRBs), wherein each first PRB comprises a set of frequency resources during a period, transmitting a first grant allocating the first interleaving unit of first VRBs to a first user equipment (UE), and communicating with the first UE via the first PRBs mapped to the first VRBs of the first interleaving unit.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that provide managing transmissions of sidelink positioning reference signals (PRS) with a timing advance offset (TA) from a sidelink node. In aspects, a sidelink node (e.g., a target user equipment (UE) or an assisting UE) may receive transmissions from a plurality of nodes (e.g., target UEs or assisting UEs). The sidelink node obtains at least one TA to be used by a transmitting node of the plurality of nodes for transmitting a sidelink PRS to the sidelink node (e.g., to advance the sidelink PRS transmission to the sidelink node with respect to the timing of the first transmission). The TA is an offset obtained by the sidelink node based on the receiving times of the transmissions from the plurality of nodes. The sidelink node may receive PRS transmissions from the plurality of nodes in a same symbol aligned within the same CP.

A transmitting user equipment (UE) may receive different configurations for determining a first transmit power for data transmissions and a second transmit power for energy harvesting transmissions. Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for resolving aliasing ambiguities produced when using channel state information reference signal, a sounding reference signal (SRS) or other transmission as a positioning reference signal (PRS) occupying a subset of tones of a PRS bandwidth. The aliasing ambiguity results in a plurality of different possible positioning measurements, such as time of arrival (TOA), reference signal timing difference (RSTD), or reception to transmission difference (Rx−Tx). The aliasing ambiguity may be resolved using a previous position estimate that may be used to produce an approximation of the expected positioning measurement. A position estimate may be generated using a multiple stage PRS configuration, in which one or more stages provide a coarse position estimate that has no ambiguity, which can be used to resolve the ambiguity of a more accurate position estimate resulting from the PRS signal.
