Abstract:
The present invention essentially comprises an overhead door backup spring system and method for providing an auxiliary spring counterweight to operate an overhead door shaft upon failure of a spring. The system has an activation unit, an engagement unit operably associated with the activation unit, and an auxiliary spring engagement unit operably associated with the engagement unit and an auxiliary spring. The engagement unit is engageable with the auxiliary spring to transfer torque from the auxiliary spring to the overhead door shaft. In an engaged position the engagement unit is engaged with the auxiliary spring engagement unit upon operation of the activation unit when the spring fails. In a non-engaged position the engagement unit is in non-engagement with the auxiliary spring engagement unit.
Abstract:
A synchronizing device for a movably mounted furniture part synchronizes a movement between at least two adjusting devices via a synchronizing rod. The synchronizing rod has at least two sub-shafts between which an overload protection device is arranged, and the overload protection device can release a relative rotational movement between the two sub-shafts when a specified holding torque between the two sub-shafts is exceeded.
Abstract:
The present invention essentially comprises an overhead door backup spring system for providing an auxiliary spring counterweight to operate an overhead door shaft upon failure of a spring. The system has an activation unit, a control assembly, an engagement assembly operably associated with the activation unit, and an auxiliary spring engagement assembly operably associated with the control and engagement assemblies. The control assembly has an engagement block engageable with a spring post of the auxiliary spring assembly. The engagement assembly has an engagement post engageable with the spring post to transfer torque from the auxiliary spring to the overhead door shaft. An engaged position has the engagement post not engaged with the spring posts while the engagement block is engaged with the spring post. A non-engaged position has the engagement post engaged with the spring post, and the engagement block not engaged with the spring post.
Abstract:
In an aspect, a lifter plate is provided that is capable of a relatively strong connection to a vehicle window. The lifter plate includes a lifter plate body including a first side wall and a second side wall configured to receive a vehicle window therebetween, a window holding member positionable in a locking position to prevent the withdrawal of the vehicle window from between the first and second side walls, and a locking member positioned to prevent the movement of the window holding member out of the locking position in the event of a force urging the withdrawal of the vehicle window from between first and second side walls.
Abstract:
An output shaft, to which the rotational force of a motor is transmitted, is rotatably supported and housed in a case. One end of the output shaft protrudes from the case, and a pinion gear is provided on this one end. Teeth that mesh with the pinion gear are provided on the outer circumferential surface of cables. A guide member for guiding the cables in such a way that they mesh with the pinion gear is mounted on the case. An urging plate portion that presses against the side of the pinion gear is provided on the guide member. The urging plate portion urges the output shaft in the axial direction and, as a result, rattle of the output shaft is alleviated.

Abstract:
A device lor the transfer of a torque from an output shaft of a drive mounted on the body of a motor vehicle with a rotational axis of the output shaft and a hinge axis arranged flush with one another. The device includes a drive lever rotationaily connected to the output shaft of the drive, a connecting member on the drive lever extending from a connecting region of the drive lever. The connecting member includes a sliding block and an adapter part that is connected to a first half of a hinge and is provided with a journal. The journal rotates directly in, but independently of, the sliding block.
Abstract:
A retrofit conversion kit for facilitating the conversion of a door operating apparatus conventionally mounted above the door, to a position mounted and anchored underground for operating a swinging door therefrom. The conversion to an anchored underground position is facilitated by incorporating positional adjustment mechanisms covering any or all possible adjustment dimensions.
Abstract:
A stabilizing assembly includes a retaining device settled between a drawable carrier and a cabinet body for preventing the drawable carrier from swinging in sliding. The retaining device includes two rails fixed to two opposite laterals of the drawable carrier. Each of the rails has a rack. Two gears engaging with the racks are connected by a rod and rotate simultaneously. Two bushes connected to two ends of the rod are received in supporting seats that are fixed on the cabinet body or the drawable carrier and allowed to shift vertically. Two stop portions, as a stop unit, each extending from the rail toward a side of the rod opposite to another side of the rod facing the rack on the rail, are closely adjacent to the retained portions so that the bushes are retained and stopped by the stop unit, and disengagement between the racks and the gears is prevented.
