摘要： This invention describes natural hop products that are stable solutions of alpha-acids, as well as their preparation and their use for post-fermentation addition to beer for the purpose of improving the foam quality, as measured by foam stability and foam cling. Improvements in the stability (both physical and chemical) of the alpha-acids are described by incorporation of iso-alpha-acids and tetrahydroiso-alpha-acids as well as various brewery-acceptable co-solvents. The alpha-acids also improve the physical stability of the reduced iso-alpha-acids, including tetrahydroiso-alpha-acids.

摘要： A human safety system includes a circuit including a microcontroller and at least one power source; a probe in communication with the circuit; at least one use detector in communication with the circuit; and at least one alert indicator in communication with the circuit. A method of using a human safety device, the method includes initiating operation of the human safety device; arranging the human safety device in communication with skin; and monitoring the human safety device for alert indicators. A method of monitoring a user includes waking from sleep state; sensing at least one condition of the user; determining if the sensed condition is in a human condition; continuously monitoring the condition of the user; and, returning to sleep state when the user condition is outside of the human condition for an amount of time.

摘要： The present invention provides flexible, user-definable call screening processes. The user can optionally define to which telecommunication terminals a screened call is to be broadcast to and under what conditions. An incoming call is forwarded to a call management system that asks the caller to leave a voice message. The call management system selectively couples the call to a POTS line or a VoIP-capable device so that the user can listen to the incoming message and thereby screen the incoming call. Based on the screening, the user can instruct the call management system to connect the caller to the user.

摘要： A system for remotely operating an electrical switch may employ a linear actuator having an actuator rod configured for engagement with a handle of the electrical switch. An actuator switch may be interposed between a power supply and the linear actuator. The actuator switch may be displaced from the linear actuator. An electromagnetic clamp may be attached to the linear actuator and configured to hold the linear actuator in position so that linear motion of the actuator rod produces movement of the handle of the electrical switch when power is applied to the linear actuator from the power supply.
