Abstract:
Provided is a method for preparing 2,5-dimethylphenylacetic acid, wherein p-xylene is mixed with paraformaldehyde and concentrated hydrochloric acid in a solvent of ion liquid to obtain 2,5-dimethyl benzyl chloride by the chloromethylation reaction. Then, 2,5-dimethyl benzyl chloride is introduced into a reactor with an acid binding agent and a solvent, the carbonylation and hydrolysis reaction is conducted in the presence of a catalyst to obtain 2,5-dimethylphenylacetic acid. The present process has new route, less synthesis steps, simple operation, lower cost, increased yield, and is friendly to the environment. Therefore, the method is suitable for industrial production.
Abstract:
Electromagnetic proximity detection method for a buried structure executed with a mobile detection device, including sensing an electromagnetic field emitted from the structure as an analog electrical signal and digitalizing the analog electrical signal as a digital signal, performed after or while filtering the analog and/or digital signal. The proximity of the buried structure is determined by analyzing the digital signal, wherein the detection method can be alternatively executed in at least two of the following modes of detection: Power-Mode of detection, Radio-Mode of detection or Active-Mode of detection. An additional Switching-Mode of operation includes a repeated sequential detection in at least two of the mentioned modes of detection and is done by automatic subsequent alternating of the mode of detection with a minimum rate of alternation that an area of detection is coverable by the at least two modes of detection in a single execution of the detection method.

Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for providing SRAM timing tracking cell circuits are disclosed. In an embodiment, an apparatus comprises an SRAM array comprising static random access memory cells arranged in rows and columns; a plurality of word lines each coupled to memory cells along one of the rows; a clock generation circuit for outputting clock signals; a word line generation circuit for generating a pulse on the plurality of word lines responsive to one of the clock signals and for ending the pulse responsive to one of the clock signals; and a tracking cell for receiving a clock signal and for outputting a word line pulse end signal to the clock generation circuit, following an SRAM tracking time; wherein the tracking cell further comprises SRAM tracking circuits positioned in the SRAM array and coupled in series to provide a signal indicating the SRAM tracking time. Methods for SRAM timing are disclosed.

Abstract:
Techniques for use in a blind detection process of information elements. Channels can be allocated into groups. For each group, resource blocks of each channel can be further divided into subspaces. A base station may communicate a number of channels in a group, a number of subspaces allocated to a group of channels, and a bit shift value to all mobile stations via non-specific user channels to a mobile station. The mobile station uses a blind detection scheme and the number of channels allocated per group, a number of sub-spaces per group of channels, and a bit shift value to locate an information element assigned to the mobile station. A number of blind detection trials may be capped to a sum of a number of channels for all allocated groups.
Abstract:
A method and system for managing an alarm of an outsourced part and a method for managing configuration information of an outsourced part are provided, so as to solve the problem in the prior art that the maintenance operation in a Business Operation Support System (BOSS) for the alarm function of the outsourced part is complex. The method for managing configuration information of an outsourced part is applied to a system for managing an alarm of an outsourced part, and the system comprises a client side and a server side. The method comprises: the client side receives a request of a user for operating configuration information of the outsourced part; the client side performs a corresponding operation on the configuration information of the outsourced part that the client side stores according to the request for the operation, and sends an operation result to the server side according to the type of the operation; and the server side performs an update processing on the configuration information of the outsourced part that the server side stores according to the operation result. With the technical is solution of the present invention, the maintenance operation of the BOSS on the alarm function of the outsourced part could be simplified.
Abstract:
A bioactive composition includes a porous hydrogel matrix. At least one protein is immobilized in the porous hydrogel matrix forming a hydrogel protein composite that is stable in an organic solvent. A process for stabilizing a bioactive composition includes the steps of: forming hydrogel matrix pores around protein molecules and reducing a water content within the hydrogel matrix pores forming a hydrogel protein composite that is stable in an organic solvent.

The invention provides high enzyme loading nanofibers and processes utilized in their fabrication, the nanofibers suitable for use as a new class of highly sensitive and stable biosensors capable of monitoring glucose at low levels. The biosensors, comprising nanofiber enzyme materials fabricated from organic solvent-based polymer-enzyme systems, can be used effectively in non-invasive transdermal biosensing applications.
Abstract:
Wireless broadband resource allocation indexing is generally presented. In this regard a method is introduced comprising determining a total number of allowable continuous logical resource unit (LRU) allocations for a bandwidth, removing allowable allocations to generate a set of allocations that can be indexed with fewer bits than the total number of allowable allocations, and storing an index of the set of allocations in a memory. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.
