    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for downlink resource blanking. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving one or more first signals from a first cell and one or more second signals from a second cell within a sampling window, comparing a first timing of the one or more first signals with a second timing of the one or more second signals, and transmitting, to the first cell, an indication of whether to enable or disable blanking of one or more resources based on the comparison.

    Abstract: A method, base station (BS), user equipment (UE), apparatus, and computer program product for wireless communication are provided. An aggressor BS may cause a remote interference condition for a victim BS, and the victim BS may transmit a reference signal to the aggressor BS to enable a remote interference management (RIM) operation to be performed. However, the aggressor BS may be unable to identify the victim BS based at least in part on the reference signal, and may fail to transmit a reference signal as a response. Further, when the aggressor BS does transmit a reference signal, the victim BS may be unable to identify the aggressor BS. This may reduce an effectiveness of RIM operations. In some aspects, BSs may transmit reciprocal reference signals including identification information to enable effective RIM operations.

    Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion defined by an active search space (SS) set. The UE may receive, during the PDCCH monitoring occasion, a downlink control information (DCI). In response, the UE may activate at least one deactivated SS set based on the DCI and a mapping that associates an SS set to a DCI type, DCI format, transmission direction, or specific combinations thereof. In another aspect, a UE may monitor a subset less than all of PDCCH monitoring occasions defined by an active SS set. The UE may receive, during a PDCCH monitoring occasion, a DCI. In response, the UE may monitor a larger number of PDCCH monitoring occasions defined by the active SS set.

    Abstract: Systems and method for providing downlink control information (DCI) sizes prioritization rules to enable a wireless network to monitor and decode a number of DCI sizes without exceeding a DCI sizes budget of a UE are disclosed. In embodiments, a UE monitors for a downlink control information (DCI) message having one of a number of different formats and one of a number of different sizes. The UE is configured with a DCI sizes budget indicating a number of different DCI sizes that the UE is configured to decode. The UE applies a DCI sizes prioritization rule to generate a prioritized set of DCI sizes. The prioritized set of DCI sizes includes a number of DCI sizes to be monitored, which is less than or equal to the DCI sizes budget. The UE decodes the DCI message based on the prioritized set of DCI sizes.

    Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication for applying resource element (RE) skipping to a symbol where a beam change is to occur. A transmitter and a receiver determine that a beam change is to occur during the symbol. The transmitter allocates bits to a subset of REs for the symbol in a frequency domain allocation. Each RE of the subset is spaced apart by a number of empty REs. The transmitter performs an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) on the REs to generate a time domain signal including a number of repetitions of a transmitted waveform. The receiver receives the time domain signal during at least a portion of the symbol. The receiver performs a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on the time domain signal and determines transmitted bits or a channel from the subset of REs output from the FFT.
