The banking machine is also operative to cause value to be transferred by users for the purchase of gaming items. The machine may be operative to install a terminal master key (TK) therein in response to at least one input from a single operator. The machine may include an EPP (204) that is operative to remotely receive an encrypted terminal master key from a host system (210, 304). The machine may authenticate and decrypt the terminal master key prior to accepting the terminal master key. The machine may further output through a display device (30) of the machine a one-way hash of at least one public key associated with the host system. The machine may continue with the installation of the terminal master key in response to an operator confirming that the one-way hash of the public key corresponds to a value independently known by the operator to correspond to the host system.

The circuitry of the invention is preferably formed on a circuit board and has an exposed conductive element such as a harmonic filter. This exposed conductive element is encased by a thin dielectric which is preferably formed using a solder mask having dielectric properties which prevent the conductive element from creating a corona during electrical operation in the contemplated thin atmosphere. In the preferred embodiment, the solder mask has a thickness of less than 0.002 inches and exhibits a dielectric strength of at least 1000 V/0.001 inch. The solder mask, for the preferred embodiment, is positioned to cover the conductive element and extends onto the circuit board only minimally.

摘要： Systems and methods for providing antenna calibration can be used in a variety of applications. A method of calibrating an antenna array for use in a traffic advisory system or traffic alert and collision avoidance system provide a mechanism that renders complex combining circuitry unnecessary in the array. A method can include receiving an unsolicited reply that contains absolute position information of an intruder aircraft. The method can also include determining a bearing of a signal encoding the reply based on a phase relationship of the signals from an antenna array not configured to operate with an internal self-test phase calibration mechanism. The method can further include comparing the bearing based on the phase relationship with a bearing calculated by a comparison of the absolute positions of a host aircraft and the intruder aircraft. The method can additionally include calibrating the antenna array based on the result of the comparison.
