    Abstract: A shower door hinge assembly includes a mount, an upper member, a lower member, a body, a plurality of gears, and a stop member. The mount is configured to be coupled to a fixed structure. The upper member is coupled to an upper portion of the mount, and the lower member is coupled to a lower portion of the mount. The body is rotatably coupled to the mount and is configured to be coupled to a pivotable shower door, wherein the body includes an inner wall having a plurality of splines defining a ring gear. The plurality of gears are disposed in the body and are configured to permit relative rotational movement between the body and the upper and lower members. The stop member is removably coupled between the inner wall of the body and one or more gears of the plurality of gears, and is configured to be selectively removed from, and repositioned within, the body to set a rotational endpoint for a pivotable shower door.

    Abstract: A hinge device includes a fixed element, a movable element and a slider housed in a working chamber and coupled to a pivot, so that a rotation of the movable element corresponds to the sliding of the slider. The working chamber includes an end cap and a working fluid and is divided into first and second variable volume compartment by a plunger member of the slider. A hydraulic circuit includes a first duct passing through an end cap that is in fluid communication with the first and second compartments and has an elongated tubular wall extending within the working chamber, and the interspace between the working chamber and the elongated tubular wall. The plunger member is tightly inserted in the elongated tubular wall, which includes a first peripheral conduit having a first and a second port in fluid communication with the first and respectively second first compartment through the first duct.

    Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the motion of a top-hung sliding door. The apparatus has a biasing member, a door engagement member coupled to the biasing member for releasably engaging a flange extending from a door hanger from which the sliding door is supported, and a body defining a path for the door engagement member. A first end of the path is configured such that the door engagement member may be releasably retained at the first end of the path, whereby when the door engagement member is retained at the first end of the path and the door engagement member is contacted by the flange: the door engagement member is configured to engage the flange, and the biasing member is configured to extend and move the door engagement member to a second end of the path.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an automatic closing apparatus for a sliding apparatus. The sliding apparatus comprises a fixed rail, a movable rail, and the automatic closing apparatus. The automatic closing apparatus includes a body, a slider, a housing, a damping unit, and an elastic body. The body is provided on the fixed rail and has an actuating space therein. The body includes: a guide wall that is provided in the actuating space and includes a curved guide part and a linear guide part; and a receiving space formed adjacent to the curved guide part. The slider is locked to or unlocked from a locking member of the movable rail and slides in an open or close direction under guide of the guide wall. The housing is coupled to the body. The damping unit is installed in the housing. The elastic body is fastened to the housing and the slider.
