Abstract:
The guiding device serves for holding and guiding a sliding door, with which a furniture opening of a piece of furniture can be closed. The guiding device comprises a guide fitting that is connectable to the sliding door and that is connected via a first articulated joint to a first end piece of a guide lever, whose second end piece is connected via a second articulated joint to a guide carriage, which comprises a carriage body that holds at least one guide roller, which is guided in a guide channel that extends at least on one side in a terminal channel section along a curve into the furniture opening.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lifting door, comprising a movable door leaf made of slats, the slats being connected to one another so as to bend, and comprising structure-mounted frames. Lateral guides for the door leaf having a vertical section and a lintel section, and frame sealing elements of a sealing assembly are arranged thereon, which close a gap between the door leaf and a section of the frames facing the door opening when the lifting door is closed. The lintel sections of the guides, together with the vertical sections of the guides, are displaceably mounted on the frames, wherein the guides can only be displaced in a direction that is diagonal to the door leaf plane, but not in a moving direction of the door leaf. Thus, an improved lifting door having greater operational safety, and at the same time an improved sealing effect between the door leaf and the door opening can be achieved.
Abstract:
The present invention essentially comprises an activation unit of an overhead door backup spring system operable upon failure of a spring, and method of using an activation unit. The activation unit has a rotating and sliding plunger that is operated upon failure of a spring. The activation unit can be used with an engagement unit that is engageable with an auxiliary spring to transfer torque from the auxiliary spring to an overhead door shaft. A plunger sleeve supports and guides the plunger by way of a sleeve slot that receives a plunger pin extending from the plunger. A plunger spring biases the plunger, while the sleeve slot retains the plunger in a biased state until activation by a portion of the spring upon failure of the spring.
Abstract:
A hinge including first and second hinge members movable between an open position and a closed position, the first hinge member including a substantially cylindrical body portion having a longitudinal axis about which the second hinge member is rotatable to move the hinge between the open position and the closed position; the body portion housing biasing means having an end fixed relative to the second hinge member, the biasing means being in engagement with an adjustment member, the adjustment member being fixed with respect to the first hinge member; wherein the adjustment member includes a ratchet means to move the adjustment member in a first direction to increase the tension in the biasing means.
Abstract:
Described is a carriage (7) for sliding doors and windows (2) comprising a fixed frame (3), at least one sash (4) that is slidable horizontally relative to the fixed frame (3) by means of a carriage unit (1), and a handle (9) mounted on the sash (4) for controlling the carriage (7); the latter is provided with a supporting frame (11), mobile on wheels, and with a connecting member (13) interposed between the supporting frame (11) and a bottom sash (4) rail (8); the connecting member (13) is movably constrained to the supporting frame (11) to enable the sash (4) to be lifted and lowered relative to the supporting frame (11) under the action of the handle (9); a helical spring (44) is interposed between the supporting frame (11) and the connecting member (13) to lessen the effort required of the user to lift the sash (4).
Abstract:
An automatic opening/closing apparatus for vehicle is downsized, and cost of the automatic opening/closing apparatus is reduced by reducing the number of its components. A driving drum is rotatably accommodated in a main body case of a driving unit, and one ends of cables are connected to a sliding door and the other ends are wound around the driving drum. An electric motor is attached to the main body case, and the driving drum is driven for rotation. A tensioner mechanism applying a predetermined tension to the cables is accommodated in the main body case. A control device, including a control substrate and a substrate case for accommodating the control substrate, is disposed to be overlapped on an axial-directional side of the driving drum to a portion of the main body case for accommodating the tensioner mechanism, whereby an operation of the electric motor is controlled by the control device.
Abstract:
A hinge for use in conjunction with an overhead mobile video system includes a pivot rod fixedly coupled to a mounting bracket, a housing pivotally mounted upon the pivot rod and a friction spring interposed between the pivot rod and the housing controlling rotation of the mounting bracket relative to the housing.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cable guide for changing direction of an inner cable for operating a sliding door of a car, comprising a pulley casing having a box shape with an opening at its top and a guide recess at an inner side of its bottom, a slider provided with a sliding plate slidably guided by means of the guide recess of the pulley casing and a shaft extending upward from a top of the sliding plate, a pulley rotatably supported by the shaft of the slider, an urging member urging the slider along the guide recess toward a direction for giving tension to the inner cable, and a casing cover covering the opening of the pulley casing, and being configured so that an inner side of the casing cover and a top face of the shaft are slidable each other.
Abstract:
An automatic opening/closing apparatus for vehicle, which is provided with a tensioner mechanism for applying a predetermined tension to a cable member, is downsized. A case of a driving unit is provided with a tensioner housing, and the tensioner mechanism for applying the predetermined tension to a cable is accommodated in the tensioner housing. The tensioner mechanism includes a pulley holder movably mounted on a guide shaft, and a spring for biasing the pulley holder, wherein a movable pulley is rotatably supported by the pulley holder. The cable drawn in the tensioner housing is wound about the movable pulley so that a direction in which the cable is drawn out from the case is substantially parallel to a direction in which the cable is drawn out from a driving drum, whereby the predetermined tension is applied to the cable by a spring force of the spring.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door operating system for controlling the movement of a door, more particularly to “no touch” door openers for public washrooms and households. The system has a motor with a gear chain where the high gear is generally semicircularly shaped engaged with a swinging arm coupled with the door through the roller and a pilot plate. The unit is activated upon receipt of the signal from overhead passive infrared or hand proximity detecting sensors and has a controlling system to provide for opening and closing the door, as well as retraction of the arm in the event of door encountering an obstacle or in an overload condition of the motor. The arm and a gear are linked pivotally with each other and with the unit housing. They are coupled through a spring suspension system and have a clutch mechanism preventing overloading. The only external moving part is the arm, which is, along with geared sector, protected by a flexible member providing security to prevent accidental jamming of objects by it. The unit may be battery operated with a low voltage and low power AC/DC switching wall adapter. In autonomous operation it can provide up to 700 opening cycles without external power.
