Abstract: A small cell for selecting a physical cell identifier (PCI) includes at least one processor configured to determine a provisioned list of PCI values from a management system. The at least one processor is also configured to sort the PCI values in the provisioned list into a sorted list based on at least one predetermined pattern and modulo X values of the PCI values, where X is a predetermined integer. The at least one processor is also configured to determine an index for each sector implemented by the small cell based on a sector ID for the sector. The at least one processor is also configured to select, for each sector implemented by the small cell, a PCI value from the sorted list based on a sector ID of the sector.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a color-coded cable identification assembly and a cable. The cable identification assembly comprises: a support element including a fixing element adapted to fix the support element to a cable; and a plurality of identification elements, which are detachably mounted on the support element with the cable being located between the support element and the plurality of identification elements. Each identification element has a predetermined color so that the plurality of identification elements are capable of forming a predetermined color code to identify the cable. The cable identification assembly according to the present disclosure can be very easily and rapidly mounted to the cable, thereby greatly saving the installation time of workers and thus reducing the labor cost and the chance of making a mistake. Compared with a conventional adhesive tape, the cable identification assembly according to the present disclosure can meet the requirements such as anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging and reuse, thereby further reducing the cost of the cable identification assembly.

Abstract: One or more cables are axially, laterally, and/or rotationally secured to an anchor member. A plug connector can be assembled to or around the anchor member. The anchor member also can be used to handle the cable prior to assembling the plug connector. A connectorization system for assembling plug connectors includes multiple types/sizes of cables; optionally types/sizes of plug bodies; and the anchor member sized and shaped to connect a selected one of any of the cables with any of the plug bodies of the connectorization system.

Abstract: To install a connectorized cable assembly, a cable terminated at a connector core is pushed through a duct. The connector core has a maximum outer diameter of no more than 5 mm to facilitate passage of the connector core through the duct. A plug body is mounted over the connector core after the connector core exits the duct. No intermediate assembly steps are performed on the connector core between being pushed through the duct and being inserted into the plug body.

Abstract: A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes a coaxial cable, a coaxial connector, and a rear body. The coaxial cable includes: an inner conductor; a dielectric layer circumferentially surrounding the inner conductor; an outer conductor circumferentially surrounding the dielectric layer, the outer conductor having an inner surface and an outer surface; and a jacket circumferentially surrounding the outer conductor. The coaxial connector includes: an inner contact electrically connected with the inner conductor; an outer connector body spaced apart from and circumferentially surrounding the inner contact, the outer connector body including a first securing feature; and a dielectric spacer interposed between the inner contact and the outer body. The rear body has a main section and a front collet with forwardly-extending fingers, the fingers engaging the outer surface of the outer conductor of the cable, the fingers including a second securing feature, wherein the second securing feature engages the first securing feature to maintain the outer connector body and the rear body in position on the cable.

Abstract: A passive optical network includes one or more multi-service terminals each having a housing and a plurality of ruggedized plug-receiving distribution ports accessible from outside the housing. The multi-service terminals also each include an optical power splitter or wave division multiplexer for splitting an optical signal and directing the split signal to the plug-receiving distribution ports. Some of the multi-service terminals provide a different power split ratio from others of the multi-service terminals.
