    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for operating in a fifth-generation (5G) new radio (NR) network may monitor search space sets for a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates within a number of non-overlapped control-channel elements (CCEs) for a primary cell (PCell). The number of PDCCH candidates and the number of non-overlapped CCEs may include PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped CCEs on a scheduling secondary cell (SCell). The scheduling SCell may be an SCell that schedules a transmission on the PCell. The UE may decode one or more of the PDCCH candidates on the scheduling SCell for a downlink control information (DCI) format which may schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission and/or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission of the PCell.

    Abstract: Devices, methods, user equipment (UE), base stations, storage media, and other embodiments are provided for a dynamic random access channel (RACH). In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a memory configured to store a configuration communication from a base station, the configuration communication comprising a dynamic dedicated random access channel (RACH) configuration (RACH-ConfigDedicated) information element, the RACH-ConfigDedicated information element comprising a plurality of dedicated random access parameters. Processing circuitry coupled to the memory is then configured to decode the configuration communication from the base station to identify the plurality of dedicated random access parameters and set up a RACH procedure for connection to the base station using the plurality of dedicated random access parameters. In various embodiments, different communications may be used for the dedicated random access parameters which are used in the RACH procedure.

    Abstract: A method of transmitting data in a WLAN system using a transmission frequency band including a plurality of frequency blocks includes generating a transmission information field, including at least one of information for timing acquisition of a frame, channel estimation information, and information for demodulation and decoding of the data, generating a plurality of transformed transmission information fields by multiplying the transmission information field by a transform sequence, and transmitting the plurality of transformed transmission information fields through the plurality of respective frequency blocks. The transform sequence comprises a plurality of transform values, and the plurality of transformed transmission information fields is generated by multiplying transmission information field by each of a plurality of transform values.
