Abstract: Various arrangements for providing real-time simulated cellular network feedback are detailed herein. A network performance simulator can analyze a production hybrid cellular network. Based on the analysis, a cloud-based cellular network test environment can be constructed. Cellular network simulations can then be performed using the constructed cloud-based cellular network test environment. At some time in the future, a service request from a client may be received. The service request is analyzed using the results of the cellular network simulations to determine feedback of how the production cellular network is expected to perform. The performance feedback can be provided to the cellular network client.

Abstract: Various arrangements for cellular network chaos testing are presented herein. A cloud-based environment can be created in which multiple cellular network components are executed on a cloud-based computing platform. Defined chaos can be injected into the cloud-based environment. At least one of the cellular network components is monitored to determine how the injected chaos affects the cellular network component. Performance data of the monitored cellular network component is captured from in the cloud-based environment. In response, a hybrid cloud-based production cellular network may be modified.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory, machine-readable media may facilitate multi-environment cellular network development and testing. A plurality of cloud-based environments that are configured according to an hierarchical order and that allow for development and/or testing of features and/or services with respect to a cellular network may be created. The plurality of cloud-based environments may be communicatively coupled to one or more software repositories via a first plurality of pipelines. The plurality of cloud-based environments may be communicatively coupled to one or more issue monitors via a second plurality of pipelines. The plurality of cloud-based environments may be exposed to service provider systems and allowing the service provider systems to develop and/or test features and/or services with respect to the cellular network within the plurality of cloud-based environments.

Abstract: Various arrangements for performing uplink grant-free transmissions are presented herein. An instance of user equipment (UE) may determine data that is to be transmitted using a grant-free (GF) uplink transmission to a base station of a cellular network. The UE may select a first GF resource block and a second GF resource block. The UE may transmit GF transmissions that comprise: a data payload and a first pointer at the first GF resource block; and the data payload and a second pointer at the second GF resource block. The first pointer may refer to the second GF resource block, while the second pointer may refer to the first GP resource block.

Abstract: Techniques are described for receiving an online request to verify an asset, e.g., a line-item from an online profile. The technique determines a verifying entity, such as an educational institution, that has authority to verify the line-item, e.g., an earned certificate, and sends a request to such verifying entity to do so. The asset is added to and verified on the distributed ledger or is verified before adding to the distributed ledger. A verification indicator is coupled to the asset, signaling that the asset has been verified once and need not be verified again. A notification that the asset is verified is transmitted to interested parties. The verification may be at a level, such as a one day verification of a negative drug test. The verifications are searchable on the distributed ledger, e.g., an employer may query for verified assets that match job-related requirements.

Abstract: Techniques described herein provide pooling of radio access network (RAN) resources in a disaggregated RAN in a manner that enables dynamic re-homing of RAN functions with minimal disruption to stateful communications. The RAN is a hierarchical arrangement of RAN units, each having an associated state at any given time. A RAN state pooling system (RSPS) is in communication with a pool of the RAN units via a high-speed communication channel. The RSPS is configured to maintain an updated repository of the state information for the RAN units in its serviced pool. In the event of re-homing from a first RAN unit to a second RAN unit in the pool (e.g., due to the first RAN unit failing, becoming overloaded, etc.), the RSPS provides the second RAN unit with the updated state information for the first RAN unit to facilitate a stateful re-homing.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adaptive mini-slot management in a network, including an element management control unit comprising a set of distribution and central units (DU/CU) to monitor power and channel traffic at a plurality of cell sites in the network; a scheduler unit for user equipment (UE) to enable and disable a set of mini-slots in a downlink (DL) pattern and an uplink (UL) pattern including at least two concatenated patterns jointly repeated with periodicity in a slot configuration period for new radio (NR) communications by users at cell sites in the network; and in response to a request by a user, the scheduler unit reserves a number of mini-slots for use in each slot configuration period wherein a reserved slot number is responsive to at least one of a condition of an AC power outage, and reduced channel traffic based on data received by the DU/CU about the condition.

Abstract: Techniques are described for dynamic bid-driven reconfiguration in a wireless communication network. An analytics front-end system (AFES) can be implemented in a provider network. The AFES can obtain network service experience (NSE) predictions derived by a network data analytics function (NWDAF) based on network status data received from back-end network functions of the provider network. The AFES can generate bid options based on the NSE predictions, each having a respective NSE definition and bid value. The bid options can be output to a user bidding interface, via which a user can review and select the bid options. In response to the user selecting one of the bid options, the AFES can direct a network policy server to update one or more subscriber policy definitions for one or more subscribers based on the respective NSE definition of the selected bid option, thereby dynamically updating at least one subscriber's NSE.

Abstract: Mounting systems and methods to secure a radio antenna are provided. A mechanical interlock assembly may include a head section and an insert section. The head section may include a laterally extending portion and a housing adjacent to the laterally extending portion. The head section may be adapted to couple with a pivotable coupling via the laterally extending portion, where the pivotable coupling is adapted to pivotably couple with an antenna assembly. The insert section may be adapted to couple with a pole coupling of a support member of a tower structure. The insert section may be adapted to fit into the housing of the head section, where the housing is adapted to receive the insert section. The insert section may fit into the housing of the head section to mechanically interlock the head section with the insert section to allow suspension of the antenna assembly from the support pole.

Abstract: Systems and methods to utilize user device self-reported quality metrics and machine learning mechanisms to optimize management of user device mobility in a cellular network. Cells in the network obtain quality data for one or more user devices in communication with the cells, including channel-quality-indicator values, reference-signal-received-power values, and reference-signal-received-quality values. The quality data is processed by a machine learning mechanism to generate a separate quality report for each cell. In response to receiving a request to handover communications for a target user device, the quality reports are utilized to select a cell that is predicted to provide the best quality communications for the target user device.
