Abstract: Provided is a method for a user equipment (UE), comprising: obtaining one or more indications associated with uplink transmission scheduled by one or more uplink (UL) grants, the one or more UL grants including a UL grant for a physical uplink share channel (PUSCH) with uplink control information (UCI), selecting a UL grant for transmission from the one or more UL grants based at least in part upon the one or more indications, such that the UL grant for the PUSCH with UCI is prioritized for selection, and causing a PUSCH corresponding to the selected UL grant to be transmitted.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to providing early packet delivery to radio link control. A transport block may be received by a wireless device via wireless communication. The transport block may fail a transport block cyclic redundancy check, but a subset of the code blocks of the transport block may pass code block cyclic redundancy checks. Packet data from the subset of the code blocks that pass code block cyclic redundancy checks may be provided to a radio link control layer of the wireless device, based at least in part on the successful code block cyclic redundancy checks for those code blocks.

Abstract: Performing a UE-triggered lower layer-based handover may include, based on measurements associated with both a source gNB and a target gNB, determining that a UE-triggered handover utilizing layer 1 or layer 2 is to be performed. First uplink resources configured by the source gNB for a dedicated scheduling request may be determined. The dedicated scheduling request may be generated at the UE to request second uplink resources from the gNB for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) a handover request in a media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The handover request carried by the MAC CE for the source gNB may be generated. In response to the handover request, a handover command from the source gNB associated with performing a handover procedure from the source gNB to the target gNB may be processed.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing downlink signal reception with antenna panel switching in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station may receive an indication of an antenna panel activation delay from a wireless device. The cellular base station may select a scheduling offset for a transmission to the wireless device based at least in part on the antenna panel activation delay. The scheduling offset may be selected to be at least the length of the antenna panel activation delay if it is expected that the wireless device may perform antenna panel activation to receive the transmission. The cellular base station may schedule the transmission to the wireless device using the selected scheduling offset, and may perform the transmission to the wireless device at the selected scheduling offset after scheduling the transmission to the wireless device.

Abstract: While in an inactive state, a user equipment (UE) device transmits a message to a base station. The message indicates the UE device's intent to perform transmission and/or reception of user data with the network during the inactive state. The message may include a portion of the user data and/or a buffer status report. The UE device receives a response message that induces a state transition in the UE device. Different state transitions (e.g., to idle, inactive, legacy inactive, connected) may be induced by different types of response message (e.g., release, release with suspend configuration, resume, setup). One particular type of response message causes the UE to stay in the inactive state and enables subsequent user data transmission/reception in the inactive state. The response message may implicitly (or explicitly) indicate that forwarding of the user data to a core network was successful.

Abstract: To reduce the beam reporting latency, a base station may include a sounding reference signal (SRS) indication to a wireless communication device (UE) as part of the transmission configuration information (TCI) transmitted to the UE, allowing the UE to receive a corresponding downlink signal using the same beam (or with the same beam) the UE used to transmit (or with which the UE transmitted) the SRS indicated in the TCI. The SRS may be one of multiple SRSs previously transmitted by the UE. The UE may transmit the multiple SRSs periodically and/or according to semi-persistent scheduling, or it may transmit them aperiodically. Therefore, the UE does not need to report the beam quality, and the base station may perform the necessary beam measurement(s) instead. Various parameters and conditions may be defined for the UE to support SRS-based TCI.

Abstract: A service device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), or other network component) can operate generate sidelink communications with peer UE devices based on PC5 unicast link to enable a direct peer-to-peer communication as part of PC5 vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. Radio status link detection can be configured based on a keep alive (KA) coordination scheme via the PC5 unicast link to monitor a status of the PC5 unicast link. A KA timer can be configured based on the KA coordination scheme via the PC5 unicast link. The KA coordination scheme is configured to reduce redundant KA requests in the PC5 unicast link to coordinate the direct peer-to-peer communication across the PC5 unicast link.
