An array antenna apparatus of the present invention is provided with: a plurality of antennas that receive signals; a plurality of down-converters that are connected respectively to the plurality of antennas and that down-convert the received signals; and a switch that selects at least one signal from among the plurality of down-converted signals, and transmits the at least one signal to an A/D converter.

    摘要: The invention includes methods and systems for use in a wireless communications system, such as a CDMA mobile communications system. A communications device transmits a wireless signal. A repeater system receives a first version of the wireless signal using a first receiver system and receives a second version of the wireless signal using a second receiver system. The repeater system switches between the first version of the wireless signal and the second version of the wireless signal to generate a third version of the wireless signal. The repeater system transmits the third version of the wireless signal and a base station system receives the third version of the wireless signal. In some embodiments of the invention, the wireless signals are Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) signals. In some embodiments of the invention, the switching occurs at a rate of 4 MHz.

    摘要: The timing recovery apparatus and the diversity communication apparatus using the same realizes a high-speed timing phase pull-in characteristic and a low-jitter characteristic at the time of power-on sequence, recovery from line disconnection and the like. The apparatuses also prevent the bit error rate characteristic and synchronization characteristic from being deteriorated by signal delay time difference. A received PSK signal is X-times oversampled. From received phase data sequences Y.sub.i obtained by the X-times oversampling, a data sequence including j symbol frequency components not affected by carrier frequency deviation is extracted by signal processing including simple adding and subtracting operations. The data sequence including j symbol frequency components is synthesized to provide two data sequences including symbol frequency components having a good S/N ratio with .pi./4 phase difference in radian and not affected by carrier frequency deviation. Further, a data sequence including two symbol frequency components is used for timing regeneration.

A cellular base station may receive an indication of an antenna panel activation delay from a wireless device. The scheduling offset may be selected to be at least the length of the antenna panel activation delay if it is expected that the wireless device may perform antenna panel activation to receive the transmission. The cellular base station may schedule the transmission to the wireless device using the selected scheduling offset, and may perform the transmission to the wireless device at the selected scheduling offset after scheduling the transmission to the wireless device.
