Abstract:
A switching device includes a switching element movable from a first position into a second position, a drive unit producing a rotary movement, and a flexible shaft transmitting the rotary movement to the switching element. The shaft has rotatable input and output sections on input- and output-drive sides, respectively. During movement of the shaft, a first rotary angle is producible at the output section, which first rotary angle is less than a second rotary angle at the input section at the same time, such that a first rotary angle shift is produced. The input section is connected to a switching position detection element having a control means with a first region which corresponds to the first position of the switching element and is coupled to the detection element. An identical indication of the detection element can be achieved in case of different rotary angle shifts in the same electrical switching state.
Abstract:
An oil transformer insulation module includes a plurality of disc-like insulation elements of identical type which are arranged flush one above another along a line, connected to one another and have in each case at least a similar outline contour. An insulation element includes a first flat layer and a second layer adjacent and predominantly parallel thereto. The first and second layers are composed of a mechanically strong, planar first insulation material. The first and second layers of the first insulation material are connected to and spaced apart from a third, corrugated layer arranged between the first and second layers and composed of a mechanically strong, planar second insulation material. The third layer has lateral edges and is corrugated in such a way that all the cavities formed by the corrugated form can be completely flooded with a liquid via the lateral edges of the insulation element.

Exemplary embodiments relate to a color changer module including an inlet channel, an outlet channel, a duct channel arranged between them to form a fluidic connection, and a first valve for interrupting the duct channel. A docking valve, lies fluidically in series with the first valve and with which the duct channel can also be interrupted.
Abstract:
A transformer is provided having a stacked core with a pair of outer legs extending between a pair of yokes. The core is arranged in a plurality of layers. Each of the layers includes a pair of yoke plates and a pair of outer leg plates. In an inner-most layer, the width of each yoke plate is less than the width of each outer leg plate. In each of the layers, the inner points of the outer leg plates are substantially in contact with the yoke plates. The cross-section of the inner leg and the outer legs may be rectangular or cruciform.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a voltage assembly having at least one short circuiting device in which a moving contact piece can be closed onto a fixed contact piece. In order to prevent breakdown at least two separated vacuum zones are arranged along a moving path of the fixed contact piece.
Abstract:
Process for controlling a dryer, suitable of dehumidifying air entering oil expansion vessels used in electrical appliances, in which a protective casing of the dryer surrounds at least two dehumidifying tanks or vessels containing an absorption device suitable to absorb air humidity coming from the outside and which can be thermally regenerated by resistors. The resistors are connected with a load cell, suitable to determine the state of saturation of the absorption device, so that detecting by the load cell of a measured mass value greater than a predefined threshold value (MFS) operates the resistors in order to regenerate the absorption device to the original state.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a computing device being configured to execute a configuration software tool for providing a plurality of function blocks and connections between function blocks in a visual representation of configuration data of an intelligent electronic device, wherein each function block is for executing a function in the intelligent electronic device. The configuration tool comprises computer-executable instructions for retrieving hardware configuration data relating to external variables created by second configuration software, and for causing the computer to generate a visual representation having the plurality of function blocks and said hardware configuration data. The present disclosure also provides a configuration system of an intelligent electronic device for power transmission and distribution.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments are directed to a method for operating a converter, wherein the converter includes a plurality of bridge branches having one or more switching cells connected in series. Each bridge branch connects one of a plurality of inputs to one of a plurality of outputs of the converter. The method includes monitoring each of the switching cells in order to determine a fault. If a fault is identified in one of the switching cells, triggering one of the triggering elements for short-circuiting switching cell connections if the fault identified in the switching cell is not followed by identification of a fault in a further one of the switching cells within a predetermined period of time.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a method for increasing the availability of displacement/position measuring systems on the basis of potentiometers with a slider tap in a closed control loop, the controller of which is formed by a microcontroller which is supplied with the position of the slider via an analog/digital converter. At least part of the sensor range of the potentiometer is scanned on request by presetting a sequence of manipulated variables and an available control loop variable which represents the position value at a high sampling rate outside process tasks is recorded, to determine the exact position of a defective slider position of the potentiometer by evaluating the variable. The reference variable of the control loop is overloaded in a defined manner within the process task such that the defective slider position is passed over during the displacement/position measurement and an intact slider position is reached.
Abstract:
An exemplary position regulator is disclosed which includes a regulation unit and a travel measurement system for activating an actuating drive for adjusting a control fitting to a predetermined position. A signal shaper is provided for outputting a travel signal to a superordinate device. To provide an undisturbed output of the travel signal, the signal shaper is connected in series in a transmission path between the travel measurement system and the regulation unit, and is connected in parallel with the regulation unit so as to transmit signals. The signal shaper can have a switch which is controlled by an alarm signal of the regulation unit, by which, in a first (e.g., inoperative) position, the travel measurement system is fed from the regulation unit, and, in a second (e.g., operative) position, the travel measurement system is fed from the signal shaper. The signal shaper can be automatically calibrated when the position regulator is activated, by comparing an output signal from the travel measurement system with a travel signal which is received by the regulation unit.
