Abstract:
This communicator makes it possible for the user to do telephone, facsimile, and data communication at any location. On a pen input device, a space eye 2, a telephone control system, a facsimile control system, and a data transmission system are mounted. All of them are operated by an input pen 55 or the space eye 2. The pen input device is connected to a wireless telephone equipment 7, and can be connected to a desired party through the public communication channel. In order to make the most of the equipment of a GPS user, the GPS user device 8 is connected to the pen input device 3. The current location of the GPS user is found through the GPS user device 8, and the data on the current location is transmitted to the party. Further. to make this communicator usable in any country, it is provided with means to connect it to a wireless telephone network of an individual service area of the country.
Abstract:
A digital picture frame having a scanning function comprises a digital picture frame, a scanning module, and a universal supporting member, wherein the universal supporting member further comprises a fixing seat, a ball, a friction unit and a support. The fixing seat is a spherical cavity formed in the digital picture frame for receiving the ball therein. The ball has a through hole penetrating a center of the ball. The friction unit is provided between the fixing seat and the ball. The support has a connecting portion at an end thereof which keeps a predetermined included angle with the support, wherein the connecting portion is connected to the through hole of the ball via an opening formed on a back panel of the digital picture frame, and the friction unit generates a predetermined frictional resistance between the fixing seat and the ball connected with the support, so that the support can change a supporting angle between the support and the digital picture frame, thereby changing a viewing angle of the digital picture frame. Moreover, the scanning module can be used to scan a picture and generate a digital image thereof for display on a display module.
Abstract:
A mobile telephone has a support structure and a camera device positioned on the support structure for electronically capturing and processing an image. A receptacle of the telephone body receives a detachable printing mechanism. The body engages a print media dispenser which dispenses print media to the printer.
Abstract:
An apparatus, method, system, computer program and product, capable of controlling access to a portable medium inserted in a medium interface of an image processing apparatus. To control access, a medium cover is configured to be closed to cover the medium interface and to be opened to expose the medium interface. A detector is configured to detect opening or closing of the medium cover to generate a detection result. Operation of the image processing apparatus, which requires access to the portable medium, is controlled based on the detection result.
Abstract:
A compact printer is provided with a static page width printhead. An elongate support case defines a docking bay and has a personal computer (PC) interface connector protruding from one end thereof. A print media cartridge is configured to dock in the docking bay in a releasable manner. A page-width printhead assembly is mounted across an opposite end of the support case to said one end. The printhead assembly includes a static ink ejection printhead configured to eject ink upon print media supplied from the cartridge.
Abstract:
Provided is a print controller for a mobile telephone handset. The controller includes a printer central processor configured to control operation of an integral printing assembly of the handset. An image sensor is arranged in signal communication with the central processor and is configured for capturing images. The controller also includes a print media feed apparatus configured to feed print media through the printing assembly.
Abstract:
A paper cartridge for a detachable printer unit of a camera, the camera including a casing having an elongate socket that is open at one end and closed at the other end; a first industry standard interface located at the closed end of the socket; a printer unit including a printhead, the printer unit being received within the socket, the printer unit having a second interface compatible with the first interface, whereby the printer unit is detachably engaged with the casing by inserting the unit into the socket to engage the first and second interfaces together; the paper cartridge being configured for holding a plurality of individual pages, wherein, when the printer unit is engaged in the socket, substantially the entire paper cartridge is located within the socket.
Abstract:
A cartridge is provided for a printing device. The cartridge includes a print media chamber structure that defines a print media chamber in which a stack of respective sheets of print media can be stored. A plurality of ink supply chambers are each configured to store a respective type of ink for printing. In one embodiment, the cartridge includes an outer molding that defines a recess in which the stack can be provided and a substantially planar molding configured to be engaged with the outer molding so as to define the print media chamber.
Abstract:
A video camera can be configured to highly compress video data in a visually lossless manner. The camera can be configured to transform blue and red image data in a manner that enhances the compressibility of the data. The data can then be compressed and stored in this form. This allows a user to reconstruct the red and blue data to obtain the original raw data for a modified version of the original raw data that is visually lossless when demosaiced. Additionally, the data can be processed in a manner in which the green image elements are demosaiced first and then the red and blue elements are reconstructed based on values of the demosaiced green image elements.
Abstract:
A system for providing call processing services to one or more customers includes a network configured to receive, from a first client, a fax transmission attempt intended for a second client associated with a customer. A network call processor within the network is configured to screen a first fax telephone number corresponding to the first client and a second fax telephone number corresponding to the second client and determine whether to deliver a fax transmission to the second client.
