摘要： A fastener assembly includes a body, a cup and a faceplate. The fastener assembly is a long thin shape for insertion into an opening in a substrate prior to actuation. Once inserted in the substrate, the fastener assembly may be actuated by the insertion of a bolt into a central aperture in the assembly and the tightening of the bolt against the cup. The actuation of the assembly causes the body of the assembly to fold at four points and to thereby secure the assembly to the substrate.

摘要： A device for matching the skin shade of a person with the shade of a cosmetic composition includes a tape having a plurality of transparent and opaque portions. The opaque portions have different shades and unique shapes that are coded to so that each portion can be matched to a cosmetic composition of a particular shape by the shape of the portion. When the tape is attached to or at least placed adjacent to the body portion of a person, the opaque portion having a shade that is close to the shade of the skin of the respective body portion becomes substantially invisible.

摘要： A dimensioning system that determines the dimensions and volume of an object by using a three-dimensional camera that measures the distance to every reflective point in its field of view with a single pulse of light. The distance is computed by the time of flight of the pulse to each camera pixel. The accuracy of the measurement is augmented by capture of the laser pulse shape in each camera pixel. The camera can be used on an assembly line to develop quality control data for manufactured objects or on a moving or stationary system that weighs as well as dimensions the objects. The device can also ascertain the minimum size of a box required to enclose an object.

A complex weighting is calculated based on the quality-indication signal. A pre-transmission signal is modified based on the complex transmit diversity weighting to produce a set of modified-pre-transmission signals, wherein the modifications are symmetric by making approximately half the magnitude of the transmit diversity modification to one signal in a first direction, and approximately half the magnitude of the transmit diversity modification to the other signal in a second direction, opposite the first direction. Each modified pre-transmission signal from the set of modified-pre-transmission signals is uniquely associated with an antenna element from the set of antenna elements. The set of modified-pre-transmission signals is sent from the set of antenna elements to produce a transmitted signal.

In the preferred embodiment, multiple video feeds are combined into a single video display, where one feed, preferably live, includes an encoded marker which is used by a computer to select a second and display a second feed, wherein the location and orientation of the second feed changes based on the location and orientation of the encoded marker in the first feed. At least a portion of the display gives the appearance of depth, such as through use of superimposed animation. The live image is controlled by the user's movement, causing at least a part of the display to move in concert with the user's motion, thereby creating an enhanced three dimensional effect for a superimposed display.
