摘要: A medical appliance or prosthesis may comprise one or more layers of rotational spun nanofibers, including rotational spun polymers. The rotational spun material may comprise layers including layers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Rotational spun nanofiber mats of certain porosities may permit tissue ingrowth into or attachment to the prosthesis. Additionally, one or more cuffs may be configured to allow tissue ingrowth to anchor the prosthesis.

摘要: Electronic telecommunication articles are described comprising a crosslinked fluoropolymer layer comprising fluoropolymer particles having a particle size of greater than 1 micron. In typical embodiments, the crosslinked fluoropolymer layer is a in substrate, patterned (e.g. photoresist) layer, insulating layer, passivation layer, cladding, protective layer, or a combination thereof. Also describes are methods of making an electronic telecommunications article and method of forming a patterned fluoropolymer layer. The fluoropolymer preferably comprises at least 80, 85, or 90% by weight of polymerized units of perfluorinated monomers and cure sites selected from nitrile, iodine, bromine, and chlorine. Illustrative electronic communication articles include integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, antennas, and optical fiber cables. Fluoropolymer compositions are also described.

摘要: A primer for an ETFE coating material containing: ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) particles; a heat-resistant resin; and a nonionic surfactant. The ETFE particles have an average particle size of 5.0 to 50 μm. The heat-resistant resin includes at least one selected from polyamide-imide resin, polyethersulfone resin, and polyimide resin. The ETFE particles and the heat-resistant resin have a solid content ratio by mass of 60:40 to 90:10. The nonionic surfactant includes a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether surfactant. Also disclosed is a primer film obtained from the primer for an ETFE coating material as well as a coated article.

摘要: A copolymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene unit, and a perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit, wherein the copolymer has a content of the perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit of 3.4 to 3.9% by mass with respect to the whole of the monomer units, and a melt flow rate of 29 to 36 g/10 min, and the number of functional groups of —CF═CF2, —CF2H, —COF, —COOH, —COOCH3, —CONH2 and —CH2OH of more than 50 per 106 main-chain carbon atoms. Also disclosed is a sealing tool, an injection molded article, a member to be compressed including the copolymer, and a coated electric wire including a coating layer containing the copolymer.
