    Abstract: A base station may transmit to a device an indication of codebook subset restriction (CBSR), which includes at least a restriction on a frequency basis. The device may receive the indication of CBSR, and may transmit to the base station channel state information (CSI) according to the received indication of CBSR. The indication of CBSR may also include a restriction on a spatial basis and restrict the device from reporting the CSI based on a subset of the frequency basis in addition to the spatial basis per configuration of the base station. The indication of CBSR may include a separately configured maximum allowed amplitude of a weighting coefficient for the spatial basis and the frequency basis, where the weighting coefficient is associated with a column vector of a precoding matrix used by the base station and the device. The number of frequency bases and the frequency compression units may be determined based on a number of different criteria, for example the number of antennas, the number of subbands, etc.

    Abstract: Sidelink pathloss between a remote user equipment device (UE) and a relay UE may be determined based at least on transmit power information provided by the relay UE to the remote UE. The remote UE may receive, via a sidelink discovery signal from the relay UE, a message that includes first information representative of a transmit power of the relay UE and/or second information representative of a measured receive signal power of a sidelink solicitation signal previously transmitted by the remote UE and received by the relay UE. The remote UE may determine a sidelink pathloss between the remote UE and the relay UE based at least on the first information and/or the second information. The remote UE may select/reselect a relay UE based on corresponding pathlosses determined for the respective paths between the remote UE and different respective relay UEs.

    Abstract: Determining priority of a simultaneous sidelink (SL) transmission and uplink (UL) transmission of a user equipment (UE) within a 5G New Radio (NR) network may comprise processing an SL control information (SCI) corresponding to at least one of a SL hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) or an SL schedule request (SR) included in a UL transmission to be sent by a UE to thereby determine a priority value associated with the at least one SL HARQ or SL SR. An SCI of an SL transmission to be sent by the UE simultaneously with the UL transmission may be processed to thereby determine a priority value associated with the SL transmission. The priority value of the at least one SL HARQ or SL SR may be compared to the priority value of the SL transmission. Transmissions may then be prioritized based on the comparison of priority values.

    Abstract: A base station may transmit beam indication information to one or more user equipment (UE) devices. For each of a plurality of time units (e.g., symbols) in a time interval (e.g., spanning one or more slots), the beam indication information indicates a corresponding beam that the base station will use to transmit or receive. A UE device may have knowledge of the beam in which it currently resides, e.g., by performing power measurements during a beam scan procedure. Thus, the beam indication information enables the UE to perform transmissions and/or receptions (e.g., configured transmissions and/or receptions) during the appropriate time unit(s). The beam indication information may be dynamically transmitted as part of downlink control information. This transmission may omni-directional, wide beam, or narrow beam. Various schemes of encoding the beam indication information are contemplated.
