Abstract: A network access node including a transceiver coupled to a sidelink receiver user equipment (UE) (or to a sidelink transmitter UE) is disclosed. The network access node may obtain a network access interface discontinuous reception (DRX) slot offset value (or a sidelink interface DRX slot offset value) corresponding to a shift in a network access interface DRX Active state start time (or a sidelink interface DRX Active state start time) of the receiver UE. The shift may configure an alignment of a sidelink interface DRX Active state start time (or the network access interface DRX Active state start time) with the network access interface DRX Active state start time (or the sidelink interface DRX Active state start time). The network access interface DRX (or sidelink interface DRX) slot offset value may be transmitted to the receiver UE.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage medium for conditional handover (CHO) are provided. An example method at a UE may include receiving, from a first base station, a CHO configuration comprising one or more CHO candidate cell configurations associated with a second base station and one or more execution conditions associated with the first base station and including one or more CHO measurements, the one or more CHO measurements comprising one or more L1 beam or cell specific measurements or one or more L3 beam specific measurements. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to mobility techniques that allow for mobility of a user equipment (UE) between a set of cells. A method that may be performed by a UE includes receiving signaling configuring the UE with a set of cells that support physical (PHY) layer or medium access control (MAC) layer mobility signaling and with a measurement configuration for the set of cells, reporting, to a network entity, measurements for at least some of the set of cells in accordance with the measurement configuration, and receiving, from the network entity, PHY layer or MAC layer mobility signaling to move the UE to one of the cells in the set, wherein the mobility signaling is based, at least in part, on the reported measurements.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently performing and reporting reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements. In particular, the techniques described herein may allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify reference signals on which to perform RSRP measurements (e.g., based on signaling from a base station), identify when to report RSRP measurements (e.g., aperiodically, periodically, or semi-persistently), and identify a channel on which to report RSRP measurements (e.g., a sidelink channel or an uplink channel). In addition, the techniques described herein may also allow a UE to efficiently identify open loop parameters to use to determine an appropriate transmit power for transmitting to another UE over a sidelink.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitter may include an interference avoidance preamble in a wireless transmission. The interference avoidance preamble may identify resources for transmitting an interference avoidance request associated with the wireless transmission. A receiver may experience interference between the wireless transmission and another wireless transmission, and the receiver may transmit the interference avoidance request using the resources identified in the interference avoidance preamble. The transmitter may receive the interference avoidance request and, in response, may enable an interference avoidance mechanism, for example, a listen before talk (LBT) procedure, a frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) scheme, a time-division multiplexing (TDM) scheme, a spatial multiplexing scheme, or a combination.

Abstract: A discovery measurement timing configuration (DMTC) window reservation signal is disclosed for new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) networks. The DMTC window is defined providing a reserved location for transmission of essential control signaling and potentially high priority traffic that may be transmitted in a prioritized manner. Access within the DMTC window may be provided with a clear channel assessment (CCA) exempt transmission (CET) option or a non-CET option. When the CET option is used, the reservation duration and period may be conveyed through the channel reservation signal. User equipments (UEs) that detect the reservation signal may re-transmit with added offset to inform neighboring base station that may not be within range of the serving base station. Base station that receive either the transmitted or re-transmitted reservation signal will refrain from communications that may interfere with the reception at the UEs.

Abstract: Uplink control channel group and cross-carrier scheduling is disclosed for cooperative communications of a virtual UE. In an aspect, a UE reports a cooperative configuration with member UEs of a virtual UE and reports associations between a plurality of component carriers (CCs) allocated to a cell group and each member UE of the virtual UE. The UE may then receive an uplink control transmission configuration message dividing each member UE into an assigned uplink control transmission group and assign one or more component CCs into one or more CC sets, wherein each CC set is assigned to each uplink control transmission group. The UE may receive an uplink scheduling message from a serving base station, wherein the uplink scheduling message includes an uplink schedule for CCs within the CC set assigned to an uplink control transmission group associated with the UE. A base station of a first network operator (OP) may determine a priority for the first OP for a transmission opportunity of a shared or unlicensed channel. The priority may be lower than a priority of a second OP for the transmission opportunity. Base station may transmit a tentative grant to a user equipment (UE) of the first OP scheduling transmissions over resources of the transmission opportunity. The transmitting device of the first OP may monitor a contention window for reservation signals communicated by devices of the second OP. Based on the monitoring and the tentative grant, the transmitting device of the first OP may perform the transmission over the resources of the shared or unlicensed channel.
