    Abstract: A method and apparatus for wireless communication in the unlicensed spectrum between an eNB and UEs having different bandwidths, e.g., between a narrowband UE and a wideband eNB. A base station apparatus performs an LBT procedure at a beginning of frames and transmits a plurality of repetitions of a transmission. When the plurality of repetitions span multiple frames and the LBT procedure is not successful for a first frame, the base station drops or postpones at least one repetition in the first frame until a second frame when the LBT procedure is successful. A UE receives the plurality of repetitions and may combine a plurality of repetitions across multiple frames. The UE may determine whether the base station drops the at least one repetition in the first frame or postpones the at least one repetition in the first frame until a second frame.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides for detecting interference in wireless communications. A wireless devices may receive an interfering signal on a portion of unlicensed spectrum. The wireless device may perform cyclic autocorrelation on the interfering signal to determine one or both of a cyclic prefix length and a symbol period. The wireless device may determine a radio access technology of the interfering signal based on one or both of the cyclic prefix length and the symbol period. In an aspect, the wireless device may further transmit an interference report including information regarding the interfering signal including the cyclic prefix length, symbol period, identified radio access technology, or packet length.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive at least one discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration, wherein the at least one DRX configuration indicates at least a DRX on-time and a wake-up signal monitoring window for reception of a wake-up signal, wherein the wake-up signal is configured for use in determining whether the UE is to wake-up for sidelink positioning operations. The UE may transition from a sleep state to a wake-up state during the DRX on-time to conduct one or more sidelink positioning operations dependent on whether the wake-up signal is received during the wake-up signal monitoring window.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to communicate with NTN base station(s) more efficiently to improve NTN positioning. In one aspect, a UE communicates with at least one TN base station via a first set of PFLs for a UE positioning session. The UE communicates with at least one NTN base station via a second set of PFLs for the UE positioning session, the second set of PFLs being different from the first set of PFLs. In another aspect, a UE measures a first RS that is transmitted from a base station via a wide beam, the wide beam having a coverage over an area. The UE measures at least one second RS that is transmitted from the base station via at least one narrow beam based on the first RS being successfully decoded, each of the at least one narrow beam covering a portion of the area.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, processes, and computer-readable media to determine a location of a device using carrier phase positioning. A process includes transmitting, at the device to a network entity, a phase measurement capability of a device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) for subcarrier set pairs of different resources received by the device. The phase measurement report includes information associated with a phase measurement performed using at least one subcarrier set pair of the at least one reference signal based on the properties included in the phase measurement request.
