Abstract: According to a first aspect, there is provided an adaptive cooking device that includes: a cooking chamber configured to receive a food product, an antenna assembly, an RF power source, a sensor assembly coupled to the cooking chamber and comprising a plurality of sensors, each sensor configured to obtain a measurement characterizing a cooking process in real-time, and one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors configured to obtain a different type of the measurement, and a controller coupled to the antenna assembly, the sensor assembly, and the RF power source, wherein the controller is configured to: receive the measurement characterizing the cooking process from the sensor assembly, process the measurement to determine a modified cooking process, and operate the antenna assembly and the RF power source in accordance with the modified cooking process in real-time.

Abstract: A robotic gripping device is provided. The robotic gripping device includes a palm and a plurality of digits coupled to the palm. The robotic gripping device additionally includes an infrared camera, including an infrared illumination source, where the infrared camera is arranged on the palm such that the infrared camera is configured to generate grayscale image data in the direction between the plurality of digits.

Abstract: Implementations disclosed herein relate to utilizing at least one existing manually engineered policy, for a robotic task, in training an RL policy model that can be used to at least selectively replace a portion of the engineered policy. The RL policy model can be trained for replacing a portion of a robotic task and can be trained based on data from episodes of attempting performance of the robotic task, including episodes in which the portion is performed based on the engineered policy and/or other portion(s) are performed based on the engineered policy. Once trained, the RL policy model can be used, at least selectively and in lieu of utilization of the engineered policy, to perform the portion of robotic task, while other portion(s) of the robotic task are performed utilizing the engineered policy and/or other similarly trained (but distinct) RL policy model(s).

Abstract: This application relates to an actuation system for assistive wearable devices such as exoskeletons designed to actuate a joint of a wearer of the device. The actuation system comprises a cable that connects a guide member arranged on one side of the joint and active components arranged on the other side of the joint. Applying a tension to the cable causes the cable to apply a force to the joint in a superior direction, which translates into a torque of the joint. The actuation system provides the advantages of having a low profile, and being substantially flexible, compliant, lightweight, and comfortable, while having good controllability and force delivery capabilities.

Abstract: Implementations are described herein for coordinating semi-autonomous robots to perform agricultural tasks on a plurality of plants with minimal human intervention. In various implementations, a plurality of robots may be deployed to perform a respective plurality of agricultural tasks. Each agricultural task may be associated with a respective plant of a plurality of plants, and each plant may have been previously designated as a target for one of the agricultural tasks. It may be determined that a given robot has reached an individual plant associated with the respective agricultural task that was assigned to the given robot. Based at least in part on that determination, a manual control interface may be provided at output component(s) of a computing device in network communication with the given robot. The manual control interface may be operable to manually control the given robot to perform the respective agricultural task.

Abstract: Implementations are described herein for using machine learning to perform various tasks related to migrating source code based on relatively few (“few shots”) demonstrations. In various implementations, an autoregressive language model may be conditioned based on demonstration tuple(s). In some implementations, a demonstration tuple may include a pre-migration version of a first source code snippet and a post-migration version of the first source code snippet. In other implementations, demonstration tuples may include other data, such as intermediate forms (e.g., natural language descriptions or pseudocode), input-output pairs demonstrating intended behavior, etc. The autoregressive language model may be trained on corpora of source code and natural language documentation on the subject of computer programming. A pre-migration version of a source code file may be processed based on the conditioned autoregressive language model, and a post-migration version may be generated based on output generated based on the conditioned autoregressive model.
