An electromagnetic induction device including a magnetic core having a limb which has a first end and a second end, windings arranged around the limb, and a housing including magnetic material, which housing defines a space in which the magnetic core and the windings are arranged, wherein the housing defines a return path for the primary magnetic flux, enabling primary magnetic flux from the first end of the limb to flow via the housing to the second end of the limb.

The housing encloses the circuit board. The electronics module includes a thermally conductive panel. The thermally conductive panel at least partly covers at least two opposite side surfaces of the housing. There is also provided an arrangement including at least two such electronics modules. There is also provided a method for providing such an electronics module.

A short-circuiting arrangement for capacitors of a high voltage converter are provided, the capacitors each having two connection terminals, the arrangement including a short-circuiting wire configured to be moved along while in sliding contact with the connection terminals and including a short-circuiting section with electrically conductive material connected to a ground potential and a probing section with electrically conductive material and a voltage evaluating unit electrically connected to the short-circuit section and the probing section and configured to detect, as the probing section and short-circuiting section are connected to the respective connection terminals, the voltage across the capacitor, compare the voltage with a discharge threshold and halt or move the short-circuiting wire based on the detected voltage.

A method and arrangement for determining a capacitor degradation parameter associated with the degree of degradation of a cell capacitor in a converter cell of a power converter including a plurality of identical converter cells, including redundant converter cells, which converter cell, prior to determining the capacitor degradation parameter, has been bypassed. The method includes a) obtaining a measurement parameter value associated with discharging of the cell capacitor, forming a dc-link, from a measurement start voltage level at a measurement start time to a measurement end voltage level at a measurement end time, and b) determining a value of the capacitor degradation parameter based on the measurement parameter value.

A system for defining motions of a plurality of real robots cooperatively performing a show based on a description of the motions of the robots defined by animation software. The system includes at least one storage for storing a plurality of segments that describe the motions of the robots during the show, each segment includes a description of motions of one of the robots during a defined time period, and for storing a plurality of scenes, each scene specifying a plurality of segments to be executed simultaneously by the robots, and a playlist handler configured to handle creation of a playlist including a sequence of scenes and to amend the playlist according to user commands, and a user interface configured to display the playlist to a user, to allow the user to edit the playlist by amending the sequence of scenes, and to receive the user commands.

A dummy tool is used to teach a robot the path the robot will follow to perform work on a workpiece to eliminate the possibility of damaging an actual tool during the training. The dummy tool provides the robot programmer an indication of potential collisions between the tool and the workpiece and other objects in the work cell when path is being taught. The dummy tool can have a detachable input/output device with a graphic user interface (GUI) that can communicate wirelessly with the robot controller. The dummy tool can also have a moveable camera attached thereto to track the relationship of the tool to objects in the work area.

A method in a control unit for closing a contactor device. The control unit is configured to enable the movement between the closed and opened position by energizing a coil of an electromagnetic circuit. The method includes applying a voltage over the coil; determining, during a first period of time, current through the coil and voltage over the coil and estimating based thereon model parameters for a model predicting the behavior of the current through the coil if the contactor device were to stay in an open position, and measuring, after the ending of the first period of time, current through the coil and determining a difference between, on the one hand the measured current and, on the other hand a predicted current of the model, and repeating the measuring and determining until a state change from open position to closed position is detected by the difference in current.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a method to optimize operation of a transformer cooling system, the corresponding cooling system, and a method to determine the capacity of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) that are used in the transformer cooling system. The method comprises: preprocessing the initial data input by user; collecting the on-line data, and calculating the optimized control command to meet the requirement of the transformer loss, top-oll temperature variation and noise; and executing the control actions by controlling a controllable switch and/or sending a control command to a VFD. Compared with the existing prior arts, the proposed solutions are much more intuitive and practical in the field of the cooling system.

In aspects, the present invention discloses a method for replacing a first field device with a second field device using a commissioning tool. The method comprising retrieving a device description file associated with the first field device, analyzing the device description file, generating a first object by mapping a parameters of the second field device to a parameter from the identified one or more parameters based on a first index and a second index, generating a configuration file associated with the second file device based on the device description file and the generated first object, and transmitting the configuration file to the second field device for commissioning operation of the second field device. The step of analyzing the device description file comprises identifying one or more parameters from the plurality of parameters for mapping based on a predetermined criteria.
