A spectacle lens which exhibits excellent abrasion resistance. The spectacle lens includes a lens substrate and a hard coat layer having a film thickness of 5 μm or more and 100 μm or less and has an indentation hardness of the hard coat layer of 25 mgf/μm2 or more and 100 mgf/μm2 or less at 30 mgf load.

A spectacle lens in which excellent adhesive property is exhibited between a hard coat layer and a functional layer such as an antireflection layer formed on the hard coat layer. The spectacle lens includes a lens substrate, a hard coat layer, and an antireflection layer and in which the hard coat layer has a film thickness of 10 μm or more and 50 μm or less and the hard coat layer is obtained by curing a curable composition containing inorganic oxide particles, a silane coupling agent, and a polyfunctional epoxy compound contained at 20% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less in a matrix component.
