Abstract: Systems and methods for situational modification of autonomous vehicle operation are disclosed. According to aspects, a computing device may detect the occurrence of an emergency event and may determine a current operation of an autonomous vehicle that may be associated with the emergency event. The computing device may determine a modification to operation of the autonomous vehicle, where the modification may represent a violation of a roadway regulation that may enable effective handling of the emergency event. The computing device may generate a set of instructions for the autonomous vehicle to execute to cause the autonomous vehicle to undertake the operation modification.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a blockchain for managing the subrogation claim process related to a vehicle collision, in particular, utilizing evidence oracles as part of the subrogation process. An exemplary embodiment includes receiving recorded data from one or more connected devices at a geographic location; analyzing the recorded data, wherein analyzing the recorded data includes determining that an collision has occurred involving one or more vehicles; generating a transaction including the data indicative of the collision based upon the analysis; and transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant in the distributed ledger network.

Abstract: Techniques for detecting interactions between predictor variables in a statistical model are provided. The techniques include identifying predictor variables for a dependent variable; and for each pair of predictor variables: obtaining a dataset including (i) first predictor variable values, (ii) second predictor variable values, and (iii) dependent variable values associated with each pair of a first predictor variable value and a second predictor variable value; generating a three-dimensional graph based on the dataset, wherein each point of the three-dimensional graph includes a first coordinate value associated with a first predictor variable, a second coordinate value associated with a second predictor variable, and a third coordinate value associated with a dependent variable outcome; and analyzing the three-dimensional graph to determine a measure of spatial randomness associated with the three-dimensional graph. The techniques further include identifying pairs of predictor variables having interactions based on their respective measures of spatial randomness.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for analyzing digital images to determine alphanumeric strings depicted in the digital images. An electronic device may generate a set of filtered images using a received digital image. The electronic device may also perform an optical character recognition (OCR) technique on the set of filtered images, and may filter out any of the set of filtered images according to a set of rules. The electronic device may further identify a set of common elements representative of the alphanumeric string depicted in the digital image, and determine a machine-encoded alphanumeric string based on the set of common elements

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for enhancing and developing a damage scene virtual reality (VR) visualization. Annotated immersive multimedia image(s) may be received from a first user, where the annotated immersive multimedia image(s) can be associated with a damage scene. A VR visualization of the annotated immersive multimedia image(s) may be rendered using a VR device associated with a second user. The VR visualization may be used to determine a damage amount, where the damage amount is determined from one or more damaged items identifiable in the annotated immersive multimedia image(s).

Abstract: Embodiments described herein generate a first set of prompts, the first set of prompts configured to prompt a vehicle owner for a first set of answers used to learn preferred vehicle renter characteristics; receive the first set of answers; generate, based upon the first set of answers, a second set of prompts, the second set of prompts configured to prompt the owner for a second set of answers used to learn additional preferred vehicle renter characteristics; receive the second set of answers; predict user preference value(s) of a profile of the owner based upon the second set of answers, wherein the user preference value(s) define criteria for sharing a vehicle associated with the profile with vehicle renters who satisfy the criteria; apply the criteria to potential vehicle renters; and cause an indication of the vehicle to be displayed only to the potential vehicle renters who satisfy the criteria.

Abstract: Provided herein is a digital care circle platform for electronic communication between a senior and virtual care circle members. The digital care circle platform may include a chatbot and an application associated with the senior, a mobile application associated with the plurality of virtual care circle members, at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device, and one or more servers, sensors, wearables, and transceivers. The at least one processor may be configured to: (i) accept event posts from the senior via the chatbot and application and from each virtual care circle member of the plurality of virtual care circle members via the mobile application, (ii) detect pro-active check-ins from the senior, and (iii) generate, once a pro-active check-in is detected, an electronic communication detailing the pro-active check-in as a pro-active check-in event, and transmit the pro-active check-in event to the virtual care circle members.
