Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for UE baseband-demodulation-performance tests in new radio (NR). An over-the-air (OTA) test environment with optimized signaling over the test interface by enabling feedback in the test system may achieve adequate baseband emulation of multipath utilizing NR reference signals. Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for supporting a UE in reporting of a selection of an NZP CSI-RS resource to an eNB supporting FD-MIMO communication. Each NZP CSI-RS resource is associated with a unique NZP CRI (or ‘Beam Index’) on a given serving cell. The UE may select an NZP CSI-RS resource for CSI calculation and reporting to the eNB based on processed CSI-RS signals received at an antenna of the UE from the eNB of a serving cell of the UE based on a CSI-RS resource configuration for the UE signaled from the eNB. The UE may report a CRI and a CSI of the selected NZP CSI-RS resource to the eNB of the serving cell of the UE based on a CRI reporting configuration of the UE signaled from the eNB.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for multiplexing of PUCCH for beam failure recovery and other signals. A UE may determine a transmission dropping rule and a transmission power scaling rule for a PUCCH which is dedicatedly configured for secondary BFR transmission, such as a PUCCH-BFR, when it is multiplexed with at least one other signal. The PUCCH-BFR and the at least one other signal may be multiplexed in a CC or in multiple CCs. The UE may determine a transmission dropping rule, e.g., so that UE can transmit an uplink signals with higher priority and drop the other uplink signal with lower priority to avoid beam collisions. The UE may determine a transmission power scaling rule, e.g., so the UE may scale transmission power within a CC and/or across CCs. The UE may multiplex the PUCCH-BFR with the at least one other signal according to the rules.

Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for uplink panel selection with power saving. In some embodiments, user equipment (UE) may experience a positional change. In response, the UE may deactivate a first communication panel to save power and activate a second communication panel. The UE may then transmit a status message to a communication node indicating the activation and/or deactivation. The node may then register this activation and/or deactivation. In some embodiments, the node may monitor uplink slots from the first and second communication panel to identify the activation and deactivation. For example, if the node detects an absence of an uplink signal within a slot threshold, the node may identify the panel as being deactivated. The node may establishing communications with another panel based on a detected signal and/or the status message.
