Abstract:
A carrier apparatus for a vehicle may include guide rails symmetrically disposed under a rear bumper beam and extending in a front-rear direction, a carrier having a panel and sliding rails and stowed or drawn out under the rear bumper beam by sliding in the front-rear direction along the guide rails, tilting mechanisms that include fixing brackets disposed at rear ends of the guide rails and tilting brackets disposed behind the fixing brackets at the rear ends of the guide rails and capable of turning on the rear bumper beam, and tilting actuators disposed on the fixing brackets of the tilting mechanisms to be selectively connected to the tilting brackets, connected to the tilting brackets to restrict turning of the tilting brackets when not in use, and disconnected from the tilting brackets to allow the carrier to turn with the tilting brackets when the carrier is fully drawn out.
Abstract:
A variable spoiler device may include a spoiler panel, which closely contacts a rear bumper in a retracted state, to perform a rear bumper function, and protrudes downwards from the rear bumper in a protruded state, to perform a spoiler function. Link mechanisms, which enable retraction and protrusion operations of the spoiler panel, continuously secure support force withstanding wind pressure in a protruded state of the spoiler panel.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a one coat painting composition comprising a base including a polyester resin in an amount of about 15 to 45 wt %, a first acrylic resin in an amount of about 15 to 25 wt %, and a second acrylic resin in an amount of about 35 to 65 wt % and a coating method thereof. The composition makes it possible to maintain and improve a high gloss finish of a high gloss injection molded substrate through a single primary coating on the substrate and satisfies environment resistant properties of exterior parts, such as adhesiveness, weather resistance, and scratch resistance, and, thus, is widely suitable for use on exterior plastic parts of automobiles.
Abstract:
A novel composite material which can replace a conventionally used metal material and includes an aramid composite, a production method thereof, and use of the composite material as an alternative to heavy metal materials which have been used as component materials for cars, airplanes, ships, electrical and electronic products, particularly as an alternative material for car tail trims, based on reduced weight, high heat resistance and superior formability thereof, are provided.
Abstract:
A bumper back beam for a vehicle may include side portions connected to a vehicle body and formed of general plastic on both sides and an intermediate portion connecting the side portions on both sides and formed of high-strength plastic and a predetermined section, both ends of which encroach into the side portions to form overlap sections.
Abstract:
A bumper apparatus for a vehicle may include an airbag module and a rotary member. The airbag module has an airbag cushion to be deployed through a bumper. The rotary member rotatably is provided on a vehicle body, and coupled at an end to a bumper portion that is removable by a force generated when the airbag cushion is deployed. The rotary member is rotatable about the vehicle body along with the bumper portion when the airbag cushion is deployed.
Abstract:
A variable deflector apparatus for a side step of a vehicle may include a slide plate receiving power from a drive device to be received in and drawn out from the side step, and a side-step deflector comprising a plurality of joints connected to each other in a row to be coupled with the slide plate and folded or unfolded with respect to a junction of each of the joints, in which the side-step deflector is configured to be received together with the slide plate when it is received in the side step and to be drawn out together with the slide plate and simultaneously separated therefrom when the slide plate is drawn out from the side step, and a drawn-out portion of the side-step deflector separated from the slide plate is configured to be perpendicularly deployed downwards from the side step, thus improving aerodynamic performance of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A carrier apparatus for a vehicle may include guide rails symmetrically disposed under a rear bumper beam and extending in a front-rear direction, a carrier having a panel and sliding rails and stowed or drawn out under the rear bumper beam by sliding in the front-rear direction along the guide rails, tilting rails extending on same lines at rear ends of the guide rails and capable of tilting on the rear bumper beam, tilting adjusters disposed adjacent the tilting rails at the rear ends of the guide rails and restricting turning of the tilting rails by being selectively coupled to the tilting rails, and damping units having first ends connected to the guide rails and second ends connected to the tilting adjusters, and reducing turning speed of the tilting rails when the tilting adjusters are separated from the tilting rails and the tilting rails turn.
Abstract:
A crash box for a vehicle may include a front connection portion that is connected to both ends of a back beam of the vehicle, a rear connection portion that is connected to a side member of the vehicle, an intermediate connection portion for connecting the front connection portion and the rear connection portion, which is formed as a hollow box shape and through which a cut cross-section of a heptangular shape is formed in a vehicle width direction, and a plurality of reinforcement ribs formed at an inner space of the intermediate connection portion.
Abstract:
A link apparatus of a variable rear spoiler for a vehicle, may include an outer linkage coupled to a motorized rotating drive shaft, a base bracket affixed to a vehicle body and a spoiler bracket connected to a rear spoiler, wherein the outer linkage determines a withdrawal height of the rear spoiler at a fully open state of the rear spoiler, and an inner linkage positioned inside of the outer linkage and coupled to the drive shaft, the base bracket, and the spoiler bracket, wherein the inner linkage determines a withdrawal angle of the rear spoiler at the fully open state of the rear spoiler.
