Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating at least two precoding matrices and a set of weighting coefficients. The at least two precoding matrices and the set of weighting coefficients may be indicated to the UE for deriving a precoder for uplink transmission from the at least two precoding matrices. The UE may derive the precoder for transmission of an uplink message based on interpolating or extrapolating the at least two precoding matrices using the set of weighting coefficients. The UE may transmit the uplink message. The uplink message may be precoded using the precoder.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for using different configurations for downlink or uplink transmissions associated with different transmission configuration indication (TCI) states (e.g., transmitted on different beams). In one example, a base station may use different configurations for downlink transmissions to a user equipment (UE), and the base station may indicate the different configurations to the UE. For instance, the base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) indicating a baseline configuration and other configurations as a delta of the baseline configuration. In another example, a base station may dynamically indicate a timing advance to a UE (e.g., in DCI or flow control feedback) for an uplink transmission from the UE associated with a TCI state, and the UE may use the dynamically indicated timing advance for uplink transmissions associated with the TCI state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating a resource set that includes one or more resources or a resource configuration for two or more time resources for reference signal reception from at least two transmission/reception points (TRPs) in accordance with a single frequency network (SFN) configuration. The UE may receive a first reference signal from the first TRP and a second reference from the second TRP in the indicated resources. The UE may perform a channel estimation for an SFN channel associated with the at least two TRPs in accordance with the control message. The channel estimation may be based on the first and second reference signals. The UE may communicate with at least one of the first TRP and the second TRP in accordance with the channel estimation.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for facilitating device-to-device (D2D) communications on sidelinks. Some implementations more specifically relate to a user equipment (UE) determining sidelink communication parameter corresponding to UE assistance information or UE capability information. The UE may also determine an attribute associated with the sidelink communication parameter, the attribute indicating the sidelink communication parameter is a dynamic parameter or a static parameter. The UE may further transmit to another UE, on a sidelink, the sidelink communication parameter and the attribute. Abstract: Various aspects and features described herein relate to methods for beam failure recovery in a SCell with assistance from a PCell. In an aspect, an apparatus (e.g., a UE) may detect an SCell beam failure, and send a scheduling request in response to detection of the SCell beam failure to a base station via a PCell. The UE may receive a first message including one of an uplink grant or a trigger for an UL report from the base station via the PCell. The UE may send a second message via the PCell indicating the SCell beam failure and a preferred candidate beam associated with the SCell. The UE may receive CORESET TCI state activation from the base station via the PCell, and determine, based on the CORESET TCI state activation signal, a control channel associated with the preferred candidate beam.

Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a sidelink UE (user equipment) includes receiving a first signal as part of a discontinuous reception (DRX) wake-up procedure at the beginning of a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) ON duration. The method also includes transmitting a response to the first signal as part of a DRX wake-up procedure. The method further includes starting a timer after sending the response. The method still further includes entering a sleep state upon not receiving a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) or physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) before the timer expires.

A wireless node (e.g., a vehicle mounted integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node) may aid in wireless communication between one or more wireless devices operating in a high-speed environment (e.g., on a high-speed train (HST)) and one or more network entities. The wireless node may transmit one or more reference signals associated with a Doppler estimation procedure to the one or more network entities. The network entities may use the one or more reference signals to generate a set of Doppler compensation parameters to use while communicating with the wireless node and the one or more wireless devices. In some examples, the wireless node may receive control information or data from the one or more wireless devices, aggregate the information, and transmit the aggregated information to the one or more network entities on behalf of the wireless devices.

Generally, the described techniques provide for transmission configuration indication states that indicate quasi-collocation relationships. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an uplink reference signal to a base station and receive, in response, a transmission configuration indication state from the base station that is based on the uplink reference signal. In some examples, the transmission configuration indication state may indicate a quasi-collocation relationship between the uplink reference signal and one or more reference signals associated with a downlink channel. In some implementations, the quasi-collocation relationship may be a spatial relationship between one or more antenna ports associated with the base station used to receive the uplink reference signal and one or more antenna ports used to transmit downlink data. The UE may receive downlink data based on the transmission configuration indication state and the indicated quasi-collocation relationship.
