    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a base station providing a user equipment (UE) with a sticky uplink beam assignment for one or more uplink signals. The UE may use the sticky uplink beam assignment for transmission of uplink signals until a new sticky uplink beam assignment is received. In some examples, the sticky uplink beam assignment may include an uplink beam identifier (ID) identifying an uplink beam associated with the transmission of an uplink signal. The uplink beam identified by the uplink beam ID may be used by the UE for transmission of the uplink signal and either all subsequent uplink signals (e.g., physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and/or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH)) or subsequent uplink signals of particular uplink channel types (e.g., dynamic PUSCH, configured grant (CG), PUCCH, etc.) until a new uplink beam ID is received. Other aspects, features, and examples are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may update a capability to a network entity periodically when the complexity, power, or memory needs of the UE change. The UE may additionally update the capability upon being triggered by a network entity, during a time scheduled by the network entity, upon the expiration of a timer, etc. The capabilities may be or include explicit values for beam switching delay, or an index selecting delay values from a table previously configured to the UE, for example. Additionally, The UE and network entity may support communications according to capability values associated with a time delay between a transmitted reference signal with repetition and the UE being ready for a downlink transmission using a beam selected based on the reference signal. This capability may indicate to the network entity to avoid scheduling downlink messages during the delay.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration and a second SPS configuration, wherein one or more first SPS occasions defined by the first SPS configuration and one or more second SPS occasions defined by the second SPS configuration are within a time interval associated with a traffic burst of a communication. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) activating at least one SPS configuration, of the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The UE may perform the communication using the at least one activated SPS configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.
