Abstract: Aspects herein describe increasing density of reference signal transmissions in wireless communications. A plurality of reference signal configurations, each indicating resource elements for one or more antenna ports over which reference signals for the one or more antenna ports are scheduled for transmission, can be received. An association configuration indicating an association between at least two antenna ports as having similar channel characteristics can also be received. A plurality of reference signals can be received in the resource elements corresponding to the at least two antenna ports as indicated in the at least two of the plurality of reference signal configurations, which can be used to perform a channel measurement of the similar channel characteristics of channels of the at least two antenna ports over at least a portion of the plurality of reference signals.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determining that a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate and a second PDCCH candidate in a control resource set (CORESET) are aligned with each other, wherein the first PDCCH candidate is a common search space (CSS) candidate and the second PDCCH candidate is a UE-specific search space (UESS) candidate; and decode downlink control information in accordance with a selected candidate, of the CSS candidate or the UESS candidate, based at least in part on a rule indicating whether the time-domain resource allocation is to be determined in accordance with the CSS candidate or the UESS candidate. Abstract: Techniques for structured channel rasters for unlicensed spectrum are described. In an aspect, a first channel raster is identified, where the first channel raster is determined from a set of carrier frequencies and is used over an unlicensed or shared spectrum for a wireless wide area network (WWAN). The first channel raster is aligned with a second channel raster that is used over the unlicensed spectrum for a wireless local area network (WLAN). A frequency scanning may be performed by a user equipment (UE) or a network entity over the unlicensed spectrum for the WWAN using the first channel raster. In an aspect, the first channel raster is used over the unlicensed spectrum for the WWAN supported by the user equipment (UE) or the network entity.

In certain aspect, a method for use by a wireless communications device includes detecting a collision between resources allocated to different channels and initiating collision handling when processing the different channels based on the detection, wherein at least one of the detection or the processing is based on one or more characteristics of the different channels or the wireless device. Abstract: Different sets of downlink control information (DCI) fields may be configured for DCI that includes an indication to trigger bandwidth part switching at a user equipment (UE). For example, a UE may receive DCI that triggers the UE to switch operation from a first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part. The UE may also identify a set of transformable DCI fields and a set of non-transformable DCI fields within the DCI. The UE may then determine updated content of the DCI for application to the second bandwidth part based on whether DCI fields are included in the set of transformable or the set of non-transformable fields. In some cases, the UE may identify a null assignment in the received DCI and may switch its operation from the first bandwidth part to the second bandwidth part based on the null assignment.

Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.
