Abstract:
An apparatus for transferring articles such as absorbent cores or disposable diaper chassis components from a rotary mechanism, such as a pad turner, to a linear mechanism, such as a conveyor, for further processing. The invention provides a device for picking an article from the outside of a toroidal surface, thence extending transversely under tension the article to be transferred so that at the point of deposition the article is held flat and at full length. Further, the invention allows for apparatus to match the velocity of both the first and second transfer points, even if these velocities are not the same. The device is of particular benefit where an article to be transferred is subject to internally biasing elastic forces.
Abstract:
A multiple loader, also adapted to operate as a magazine for storing vertically arranged panels, comprises, at a front head portion thereof, a step-by-step pushing device including a carriage driven by pneumatic cylinders causing the carriage to slide with a rectilinear reciprocating horizontal movement, to provide a pushing action on a first of a series of separating elements, arranged at a top sliding platform.
Abstract:
A flat belt has a longitudinal reinforcement fabric to reinforce the flat belt along the longitudinal direction. A first thermoplastic resin layer is laminated on an upper side of the longitudinal reinforcement fabric. A second thermoplastic resin layer is laminated on a lower side of the longitudinal reinforcement fabric. A first lateral reinforcement fabric is laminated on an upper side of the first thermoplastic resin layer to reinforce the flat belt along the lateral direction. A second lateral reinforcement fabric is laminated on a lower side of the second thermoplastic resin layer to reinforce the flat belt along the lateral direction. A first friction layer is provided above an upper side of the first lateral reinforcement fabric, and is formed with a conveyor surface for conveying a subject.
Abstract:
A conveyor 1 for holding glass plates 2 in position during grinding and drilling operations comprising one or more than one belt 3, 3′ 3″ having a rotating surface and a suction generator 6 for generating a vacuum on the surface.
Abstract:
In previous netting systems using disposable netting frames, the wooden frame may become jammed in the diverter frame. The present invention provides a rigid frame for installing and holding the wooden netting frame in the diverter frame and which releases the wooden frame for disposal.
