Abstract: An opening and closing device for a vehicle sliding door, including: a latch; a ratchet; a power closer; a closing lever configured to rotate the latch in a closing direction from a half latched position to a fully latched position, by being rotated by motor power of the power closer; a cancel lever configured to shift between: a coupling position where rotation of the closing lever is transmitted to the latch; and a cancel position where rotation of the closing lever is not transmitted to the latch; and a first lever and a second lever configured to move the cancel lever from the coupling position to the cancel position by operation of an operating handle of a sliding door, wherein the cancel lever includes a non-flat reinforced contacting part to which the first lever and the second lever are independently configured to brought into contact.

Abstract: A hinge assembly, including a rotating shaft and a pair of cams, is provided. The cams are sleeved on the rotating shaft so as to be rotatable relative to each other. The pair of cams respectively has a first flat surface and a second flat surface facing each other, and a curved surface adjacent to the first flat surface and the second flat surface. The first flat surface of one of the cams passes by the curved surface to move from one flat surface to the other flat surface of the other cam, so as to enable the pair of cams to move relatively away or closer along an axial direction of the rotating shaft. The curved surfaces of the cams are in surface contact when the first flat surface passes by the curved surface. A portable electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: A door closer with an electric motor-assisted closing feature, that may generate its own power to assist in closing, and controls the speed of opening and closing of the door during generation is disclosed. Embodiments of the present disclosure are realized by a motorized door closer that electrically creates a latch boost force for a closing door. The door closer includes a motor disposed to operatively connect to a door so that the door will be moved toward closed when the motor moves, and a position sensor to determine a position of the door. A processor is programmed to exert a closing force on the door in the latch boost region or when it otherwise detects that a motor assist is needed.

Abstract: An adjustable snap-acting hinge is provided. The hinge includes a first articulated quadrilateral and a second articulated quadrilateral, which can move on a working plane and share a first lever and a second lever and are provided respectively with a plate for coupling to a first element and with a plate for fixing to a second element. A contrast element is associated with the coupling plate and can be arranged in at least one position for use, which lies between a first position in which the contrast element is arranged at a maximum distance from the point of the first lever, and a second position in which the contrast element is arranged at a minimum distance from the point of the first lever. The hinge also includes locking means for keeping the contrast element in the position for use.
