    Abstract: An optical transmission module includes: a package; a plurality of light-emitting elements each emitting light in the interior of the package; a beam splitter splitting the light into transmitted light and split light; a plurality of light-receiving elements each including a light-receiving surface on which the split light is incident in the interior of the package, for monitoring light outputs of the plurality of light-emitting elements; and a first light-shielding film provided between the plurality of light-emitting elements and the beam splitter and including a plurality of first holes for the light to propagate to the beam splitter, wherein the plurality of light-receiving elements are disposed with the light-receiving surfaces facing the beam splitter.

    Abstract: A light projector and a light receiver each include a case body, a light transmission plate closing an opening in a front face of the case body, caps closing openings in end faces of the case body, and cap covers attached slidably to each cap. The case body includes first supports partially supporting side edges of the light transmission plate, the caps respectively include second supports supporting ends of the light transmission plate, the light transmission plate is supported by the first and second supports with an elastic member interposed between the light transmission plate and the first and second supports, the cap cover includes a pressing unit pressing the ends of the light transmission plate toward the second supports, and second engagement units engaging with each other to maintain a state where the pressing unit presses the light transmission plate are provided in the cap and the cap cover.

    Abstract: A sealing system (20) for an optical sensor of a turbine engine that diverts and exhaust seal leakage away from the seal (22, 24) to prevent ingestion of humid air through the seal (22, 24) is disclosed. The sealing system (20) may include inner and outer optical housings (26, 28) with first and second seals (22, 24) positioned there between separating inner and outer optical housings (26, 28) radially. The sealing system (20) may include one or more leakage manifolds (30) positioned between the first and second seals (22, 24) and containing one or more manifold rings (32). The manifold ring (32) may be positioned between and in contact with the first and second seals (22, 24) enabling the first and second seals (22, 24) to form a double seal. The manifold ring (32) may also be configured to capture leakage air that has seeped past the first seal (22) and exhaust that leakage air through one or more exhaust vents (34) in the outer optical housing (28) before leaking through the sealing system (20).
