    摘要: A subsea housing assembly, in particular for a subsea sensor, includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The first housing portion includes a first electrical connection for data communication and the second housing portion includes a second electrical connection for data communication. A wall provides separation between the first housing portion and the second housing portion of the subsea housing. An inductive coupler, that includes a first coupling section disposed in the first housing portion and a second coupling section disposed in the second housing portion, is provided. The inductive coupler is configured to provide inductive coupling across the wall for providing at least a data communication between the first and second electrical connections.

    摘要: An electrical process control sensor assembly 10 for sensing a process or machine parameter, the assembly 10 including a sensor body 12 and a head 14, the body 12 defining a body interior 20. The assembly includes a sensing device 22 at least partially located in the body interior 20. The head 14 defines a head interior 24 which communicates with the body interior 20. The assembly 10 includes a connector arrangement 26 located in the head interior 24. The assembly 10 includes internal communicating members 28 extending between the sensing device 22 and the connector arrangement 26, the connector arrangement 26 connecting, in an installed condition, the internal communicating members 28 to external communicating members 30 to permit electrical communication therebetween. The head 14 defines a port 34 through which the external connecting members 30 are located in the installed condition. The assembly 10 includes a mounting 48 for mounting the head 14 to the body 12 which is arranged to permit adjustment of the orientation of the head 14 relative to the body 12.

    摘要: A drive-over tire tread depth measurement system is configured with environmental protection components for preventing or impeding environmental contaminates from falling through openings in a vehicle support surface or cover plate onto underlying components such as sensor optical windows and adjacent surfaces. The environmental protection components may include air discharge assemblies, movable shields, guards, wipers or deflectors such as drip edges, water-accumulating textured surfaces, flow diverters, and selectively placed flanges or fixed guards which operate cooperatively to displace accumulated contaminates, debris, or liquids from the optical windows and adjacent sensor surfaces. A portion of the vehicle support surface or cover plate is removable to permit access to underlying components.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a water resistant smart gauge is disclosed including a housing, a printed circuit board (PCB), a display device, a transparent circular pane, a rear cover, and one or more modules. The PCB is mounted in the housing and has one or more sets of electrical contacts, The display device is mounted in the housing. The transparent circular pane is sealed to a front side of the housing over the display device. The rear cover is sealed to a back side of the housing. The rear cover includes one or more expansion module have sealed openings around the one or more sets of electrical contacts of the PCB. The one or more modules each having a cylindrical shaft with a groove and a sealing ring mounted in the groove. When the cylindrical shaft of the one or more modules are plugged into the one or more expansion openings in the rear cover, they provide a water resistant seal for the smart gauge.
