    摘要: A strain relief assembly including a clamp for firmly holding an electrical cable which includes at least one electrical conductor and a resilient insulative outer jacket disposed about the conductor. The cable is for extension inside a housing for electrical equipment, and the housing has a wall with a generally circular opening for passage of the cable. The strain relief clamp is for mounting in the opening and includes a generally U-shaped receiver defining an open-ended cavity for receiving the cable. The clamp also includes an insert for slidable reception by the receiver to close the open end of the cavity thereby holding the cable by forming a bend in the cable with the resiliency of the cable urging the insert outwardly. The housing wall and the clamp include structure for preventing rotation of the clamp with respect to the wall.

    摘要: A garage door opening and closing apparatus having improved operational safety includes a control circuit which responds to a number of input stimuli to generate commands to open and close a garage door as well as to stop garage door movement. Three relays respond to the commands via drive circuitry to actually connect door operating voltages to the windings of a door controlling motor. By redundancies in the operation of the three relays, faults in the operation of those relays result in safe door operating conditions. Additionally, the control circuitry upon issuing a door stop command, performs a test to determine whether or not the door is still moving. If the door is still moving, door up commands are generated by the control circuitry to place the door in a safe position.

    摘要: A jack shaft garage door operator is used for positively opening and closing a garage door and includes a jack shaft garage door operator drive having an electric motor. The electric motor is connected to a jack shaft garage door operator transmission. The transmission includes an opening flexible link storage unit or cable drum having an opening flexible link cable drive wrapped around it. Also connected to the jack shaft is a second cable drum having a closing flexible link or closing cable wound in the opposite direction from the opening cable. A compressional force transmitting member comprising a quick-turn bracket couples the closing cable to the garage door and is itself connected to an upper portion of the garage door to transmit a positive closing force to the garage door throughout its entire travel as the closing cable is drawn in and the opening cable is payed out under the operation of the electric motor.

    摘要: The present invention provides a power supply for a digital light controller which is placed in a wall box where the neutral line cannot be used. The invention uses two separate and different kinds of power supplies that are placed in series with the load and the digital light controller depends on the power supply 1 when the load is off and on the second power supply when the load is on. The supplies are alternately switched when either the remote control or a manual switch is triggered. The first power supply uses a switch that is either opened or closed to develope a voltage drop of V or 0 and the second supply uses diodes back to back to develop a voltage drop which can be stepped up and rectified to a DC voltage for powering the digital light control.

    摘要: A barrier movement operator moves a barrier between open and closed positions. The operator receives a first request to move the barrier. The actual force required to move the barrier is measured. An obstruction to barrier movement is determined by comparing the measured actual force to a first predetermined force threshold. Responsive to the detection of an obstruction, the direction of travel of the barrier is reversed. The operation of the barrier movement operator is modified, by permitting the use of a higher force threshold in future measurements. A second request to move the barrier is received. The actual force required to move the barrier is measured a second time. An obstruction to barrier movement is detected by comparing the measured actual force with the new, higher force threshold.
