    摘要: A touch-sensitive device includes a transparent substrate, a touch-sensing structure, a decorative layer, a metal trace layer, a first insulation layer and a second insulation layer. The touch-sensing structure is disposed on the transparent substrate and located in a touch-sensitive region of the touch-sensitive device. The decorative layer is disposed on a non-touch-sensitive region of the touch-sensitive device, and the metal trace layer is disposed on the non-touch-sensitive region. The first insulation layer is disposed on the transparent substrate and covers the touch-sensing structure and the metal trace layer. The second insulation layer is disposed on the transparent substrate and distributed only in the non-touch-sensitive region to provide a distribution area substantially overlapping the metal trace layer.

    摘要: A field sequential driving method includes the following steps. First, a liquid crystal display (LCD) including a display unit and a backlight unit is provided. The display unit includes several pixel units. Next, a white light source of the backlight unit is enabled during a first sub-frame period of a frame period of the LCD. Then, red and blue sub-pixel data are provided to drive a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel in the pixel unit during the first sub-frame period. Next, a green light source of the backlight unit is enabled during a second sub-frame period of the frame period. Thereafter, green sub-pixel data is provided to drive a third sub-pixel of the pixel unit during the second sub-frame period.

    摘要: An active matrix substrate is provided. The active matrix substrate includes a substrate, scan lines, data lines, pixel units, and connecting lines. The scan lines, data lines, pixel units, and connecting lines are all disposed over the substrate. The pixel unit includes an active component, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a third pixel electrode. The active components are electrically connected with the scan lines and data lines. The first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are disposed at the two opposite sides of the scan line, and electrically connected with the active component. The third pixel electrode is electrically insulated from the active component. In the pixel units arranged in a same column, each of the third pixel electrodes is electrically connected with the second pixel electrode controlled by a previous scan line through the corresponding connecting line.

    摘要: A thin film transistor liquid array substrate includes forming a plurality of amorphous silicon thin film transistors and storage capacities on a transparent substrate, wherein the amorphous silicon thin film transistors and the storage capacities are arranged in an array pattern. The storage capacitor has a top electrode and a bottom electrode, which are made of transparent conductive material to increase aperture ratio. A method of making the amorphous silicon thin film transistors and the storage capacities includes four photomask processes and a back exposure technique. Because the present invention only uses four photomask processes, the number of photomasks used in the process of the present invention is less than the conventional method, and the cost of fabrication is lower also.

    摘要: An image processing method is provided for generating multi-color data comprised of three primary-color sub-pixels and a brightness-enhancing sub-pixel, where a combination selected three at a time from these sub-pixels constituting a target pixel for the image processing method. First, a three-color pixel is converted into a four-color pixel, where the sub-pixels of the four-color pixel identical with those of the target pixel are represented by first numerical values, and the sub-pixel of the four-color pixel different to that of the target pixel is represented by a second numerical value. Then, the first numerical values are correlated with third numerical values discarded by neighboring pixels of the target pixel to determine the actual output of the target pixel.

The display panel is provided with a stripe sub-pixel arrangement in which sub-pixels arranged in a first direction have identical colors, and sub-pixels arranged in a second direction have distinct colors. The pixel density in the first direction is twice the pixel density in the second direction of the stripe sub-pixel arrangement. The parallax optic has view-separation elements arranged in the first direction into multiple rows. Each view-separation element is positioned corresponding to two adjacent sub-pixels, and the view-separation elements in one row are staggered relative to the view-separation elements in immediately adjacent rows.

Each of the barriers is grille array, and not transparent. There is a transparent area between two parallax barriers. The parallax barriers in the adjacent arrays are formed diagonally, and the width of the transparent area is greater than that of a sub-pixel in order to reduce the number of the parallax barriers, to enhance the luminance of the 3D LCD, and to preserve the resolution of the 2D-display images.
