Abstract:
A miniature small pitch connection element comprises an insulating elastomer body associated with conducting strips. The strips are disposed about the body over the largest part of its circumference and the remaining portion of the strips is overmolded by the body to be inside it to provide a strong mechanical connection between said strips and the body. The strips emerging from said body by their respective two ends.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the extraction of all unsaponifiable fraction contained in a vegetable oil, an oil originating from a micro-organism or a vegetable butter or in a co-product from the vegetable oil refining industry, such as deodorization discharge. The method includes at least: A) a step comprising the transformation of the aforementioned oils, butter or co-product from the vegetable oil refining industry or oils originating from micro-organisms into a hydro-alcoholic solution by means of, in particular, a step selected from saponification and esterification steps; B) a step comprising the extraction of the hydro-alcoholic solution in which the fatty fraction is separated from the unsaponifiable fraction by means of liquid/liquid extraction; and C) an optional step comprising the purification of the unsaponifiable fraction, selected from the group containing crystallization and liquid/liquid extraction steps. According to the invention, at least one step from the liquid/liquid extraction steps in step B, the crystallization steps in step C and the liquid/liquid extraction steps in step C is performed using a first solvent system containing a concentration of solvent selected from among: fluorinated aromatic solvents, particularly trifluorotoluene (BTF) and hexafluorobenzene (BHF); tert-butyl ethers, particularly 2-ethoxy-2-methylpropane, also known as ethyl-tert-butyl-ether (ETBE); solvents comprising at least one silicon atom, particularly hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDS) and tetramethylsilane (TMS); methyl-tetrahydrofuran (MeTHF); and mixtures thereof, representing at least 50 vol.-% in relation to the total volume of the solvent system. The invention also relates to the fractions obtained using this method and to compositions containing said fractions.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a process for producing refined avocado oil rich in triglycerides. The invention also pertains to refined avocado oil rich in triglycerides obtainable by said process. Advantageously, the refined avocado oil of the invention contains a sterols-enriched unsaponifiable fraction. Advantageously, the refined avocado oil of the invention is substantially free of acetogenins and furanic lipids. The invention also concerns compositions containing said oil. The invention also pertains to such compositions for use as a medication, as a dermatological agent, as a cosmetic agent, or as a nutriceutical, for human or animal use.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for obtaining a furan lipid-rich unsaponifiable material from avocado, which comprises the successive steps (1) of controlled dehydration of fresh avocados or of avocados that have undergone preliminary transformations, (2) of extraction of the oil from dehydrated fruit, (3) of a heat treatment of the extracted oil and of a step of concentration of the unsaponifiable fraction of the oil or alternately, these two operations possibly being carried out successively in this order or in the reverse order, and finally (4) a step of saponification and of extraction of the unsaponifiable material.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing an avocado leaf extract rich in furanic lipids, the raw material for which consists of avocado leaves, and which comprises the following steps: a liquid-solid extraction step followed by evaporation under vacuum, and a heat treatment step between 80 and 120° C. which is continued for a period of between 5 and 72 hours, it being possible for these two steps to be carried out in this order or in the reverse order.
Abstract:
Installation for a blade suture clip for osteological removal for treatment of the inflammation of the knee joint. The instrument consists of a positioning-reduction frame presenting an opening meant to position a piercing block in order to create holes allowing the installation of the blade suture clip. The opening is limited by two proximal edges and two distal edges, and two lateral edges presenting an extension similar to that of the blade suture clip. The proximal part of each of the lateral edges contains superimposed holes to position the positioning reduction frame by means of pins, while the distal edge contains a hole designed for the passage of the proximal bit of a tightening instrument allowing adjustment of compression while the distal bit is introduced in a hole pierced in the tibia under the distal edge of the positioning-reduction frame at a certain distance.
Abstract:
Device for reinforcing a ligament transplant during reconstructive surgery. The transplant is inserted into a knitted sleeve formed from resorbable yarn, the mesh of which enables said sleeve to be extended in a diamteral direction and includes at one of its ends two loops, which serve to secure said sleeve to one of the insertion points of the transplant. The sleeve can be associated with a tube having an ogival head adapted for sliding into a tractive tube in which the transplant enclosed in the sleeve has been previously placed, the end of the sleeve being passed, by means of a thread-drawing tube, through an opening in the ogival head. The head comprises elastic ribs which can hold onto the body of said tube, the withdrawal of the tractive tube enabling the ribs to be spaced apart and engage the peripheral area of the hole formed in the bone.
Abstract:
The apparatus of the invention comprises a measurement chamber fed with gas under pressure by a feed nozzle, a measurement chamber having an outlet nozzle spaced apart from the feed nozzle and including a pressure take-off point disposed between the feed nozzle and the outlet nozzle. According to the invention, a separating partition extends inside the measurement chamber overlying the pressure take-off point and co-operates with the wall of the measurement chamber to determine a volume which is closed in airtight manner at its outlet nozzle end and which is open at its inlet nozzle end in the vicinity of the inlet nozzle.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a process for agglomerating compressible powders, particles or fibres of mineral substances, said process comprising the steps of placing at least one layer of a steam and gas pervious product on a layer of said compressible substances in which the water content is such that, after vaporization, a sufficient amount of water is still present to ensure the desired chemical reaction, then subjecting the layers to the simultaneous action of pressure and heating.
