Disclosed herein are a method for quantifying skin changes caused by six external evils and a method of screening skin condition-improving materials using the quantification method. More specifically, disclosed are a method of measuring cellular changes caused by external stimuli in a skin cell culture system, in which the degree of cellular changes obtained by applying suitable stimuli of six external evils to skin cells being cultured is measured by cellular biochemical methods, such that the conceptual effects of six external evils suggested in the prior art can be scientifically and quantitatively expressed, and a method of screening skin condition-improving materials using the measurement method.

The present invention relates to a recombinant microorganism having an enhanced ability to produce ethanol and butanol and a method for preparing ethanol and butanol using the same, and more particularly to a recombinant microorganism having an enhanced ability to produce ethanol and butanol, into which a gene encoding CoA transferase and a gene encoding alcohol/aldehyde dehydrogenase are introduced, and to a method for preparing ethanol and butanol using the same. The recombinant microorganism according to the present invention, obtained by manipulating metabolic pathways of microorganisms, is capable of producing butanol and ethanol exclusively without producing any byproduct, and thus is useful as a microorganism producing industrial solvents and transportation fuel.

The optical filter includes an external light anti-reflection layer, a color compensation layer, an external light shielding layer, and an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding layer. The external light shielding layer includes a barrier rib unit including black photoresist at a gap between the EMI shielding layer and the external light anti-reflection layer or the color compensation layer, for partitioning the gap.

Disclosed herein are novel microbes Thraustochytrium sp. KJS-1 and Bacillus polyfermenticus KJS-2. Also provided is an aquaculture feed additive for use in fisheries, which comprises freeze dried Thraustochytrium sp. KJS-1, freeze dried Bacillus polyfermenticus KJS- 2, and freeze dried Bacillus licheniformis. In addition to providing DHA, an essential nutrient for fish, the aquaculture feed additive shows antibacterial and antifungal activity, thereby preventing fish from dying from bacterial and fungal diseases.

A method for transferring data frame end-to-end in a local area network is provided. In the method, a virtual synch frame shaper is loaded on a frame transmission layer structure provided in end stations in transmitting and receiving sides, which transmits data frame passing through a plurality of Ethernet switches in the LAN. Then, slot counters, which are counted through the virtual synch frame shaper, are exchanged between the end stations, and the slot counters are synchronized. Afterward, the transmit time slot is allocated based on the synchronized slot counters for transmitting data frames between the end stations. Finally, data frames are transmitted based on the synchronized slot counters and the allocated transmit time slot.

Disclosed herein is a method of providing a clothes fitting service to a plurality of clients having respective terminals. The terminals are capable of accessing a network via a wireless or wired connection. In the method, body information is received via the network, a 3D user avatar corresponding to a client is created based on the body information, the client selects specific clothes, and the 3D user avatar is provided with the selected specific clothes on. Thereafter, when the specific clothes are put on the 3D user avatar, information about fitting of the clothes is calculated, and the calculated information about fitting of the clothes is provided to the client.

A system and method provide mobile services of a fashion album directly created by a user. A digital album service system and method provide wireless mobile services, wherein figures of a user's avatar wearing a variety of fashion items are provided in the form of a moving picture to a user connected to an avatar image server through a wired communication network using a personal computer (PC). A relevant image is provided in the form of a still picture and/or a mobile flash to a specific mobile communication terminal selected by the user, thereby allowing the user to view or download the image without restriction of time and space.
