摘要： Disclosed is a method for determining an existence of a repeater using a portable Internet signal and for measuring a position of a mobile station using the same, the method receiving a portable Internet signal and a mobile communication signal from a base station, calculating distances between a mobile station and the base station according to the received portable Internet signal and the received mobile communication signal, and determining the existence of the repeater by comparing the calculated distances with each other. Receiving a mobile communication signal and the portable Internet signal, calculating distance values between the mobile station and a base station according to the received mobile communication signal and the received portable Internet signal, determining a distance value to be used for measurement of the position of the mobile station among the calculated distance values according to existence of errors in the portable Internet signal and the mobile communication signal, and measuring the position of the mobile station using the determined distance values.

摘要： A method and a terminal for providing a route in a navigation system using a satellite image are provided. The terminal includes a route calculation unit for calculating a route from a current location to a destination when a user inputs the destination, a satellite image requesting unit for requesting a satellite image server for satellite images corresponding to locations on the route and for downloading the requested satellite images, a satellite image storage unit for storing the downloaded satellite images, and a controller for retrieving a satellite image corresponding to the current location from the satellite image storage unit and for displaying the retrieved satellite image simultaneously while downloading the satellite images corresponding to the locations on the route.

摘要： A method for generating driver assistance information of a traveling vehicle. The method can restructure traveling environments into an image based on a sensor system capable of removing blind spots around a traveling vehicle, and a scheme capable of exactly detecting a lane and a vehicle, and give a collision warning when there is a possibility of collision. Further, the method integrates recognition results of front/rear vehicles based on a lane recognition method applicable to various road environments, including the shape, curvature and loss of a lane, improves the stability of lane recognition, and distinguishes a solid line from a dot line, so it is possible to provide a driver with the subdivided degrees of danger. In addition, when a vehicle deviates from a lane, a voice warning may be output and the position of the vehicle for a road is restructured as an image.

The method includes receiving, by the terminal, information on neighbor base stations (BSs) from a main BS, scanning the neighbor BSs while measuring Received Signal Strength Indicators (RSSIs) for the main BS and the neighbor BSs, determining whether the RSSI for the main BS is greater than a preset threshold value, and deciding, as a position of the terminal, a position associated with an IDentification (ID) of the main BS when the RSSI is greater than the threshold value.

摘要： A positioning system using a mobile Internet signal is disclosed. The positioning system includes access points for transmitting downlink signals for mobile Internet communications, an access terminal for generating positioning information using the downlink signals received from the access points and access point information on the access points, and a position determination entity (PDE) for calculating range values between the access terminal and the access points using the positioning information from the access terminal and determining a position of the access terminal using the range values. Since the positioning system determines the position using the mobile Internet signal, an accurate terminal position can be determined even in such environments as downtown, shaded and indoor areas.

摘要： A metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitor of a semiconductor device, and a manufacturing method thereof, includes a lower electrode formed of a refractory metal or a conductive compound including the refractory metal, a dielectric film formed of a high dielectric material, and an upper electrode formed of a platinum-family metal or a platinum-family metal oxide. Accordingly, the MIM capacitor satisfies the criteria of step coverage, electrical characteristics and manufacturing costs, as compared to a conventional MIM capacitor in which the upper and lower electrodes are formed of the same material such as a platinum-family metal, a refractory metal or a conductive compound including the refractory metal. The capacitor is especially suitable for mass production in semiconductor fabrication processes.
