Abstract:
To realize an analog multifunction timepiece capable of realizing plural movement layouts including a fan shape moving hand train wheel by only changing positions of integrating parts without changing dimensions and shapes of the parts of movements. A movement of a multifunction timepiece is provided with a first train wheel rotational center, a second train wheel rotational center, a third train wheel rotational center and a fourth train wheel rotational center. Calendar information can be displayed by a small hand moving to rotate centering on the first train wheel rotational center and the second train wheel rotational center. Calendar information can be displayed by a small hand moving in a fan shape centering on the third train wheel rotational center and the fourth train wheel rotational center.
Abstract:
To effectively prevent positional deviation of a battery. A hook-shaped member of a spring electrode terminal, and hook-shaped members of a spring electrode terminal are arranged in respective apices of a regular triangle to restrict movements of a battery in a direction along a cross section against the bias of a spring electrode terminal, which abuts against a negative surface of the battery. Battery abutments are arranged in respective apices of a substantially regular triangle to permit the bias of the respective spring electrode terminals to bias the battery toward the battery abutment, thus restricting positional deviation of the battery in a horizontal plane. When the battery is to be removed, a battery removal tool arranged near the hook-shaped member is inserted into a tool insertion portion to remove the battery.
Abstract:
To provide a jumper structure which is light-weighted and capable of reducing fabrication cost and a timepiece using the same. A jumper structure of a timepiece is constituted by integrally molding a jumping and restricting portion made of carbon nanofiber and a spring portion made of carbon nanofiber. A jumping and restricting portion of the jumper structure is thicker than the spring portion and the jumping and restricting portion includes a projected portion in a flat plate shape and in an eaves-like shape.

A multilayer ultrathin film which comprises layers of a polymer and layers of lamina particles alternately assembled, said lamina particles are obtained by exfoliating microcrystals of a layered titanium oxide.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a niobium(Nb)-containing aqueous solution for use in producing a Nb-containing oxide catalyst, wherein the oxide catalyst comprises an oxide of a plurality of active component elements including Nb and is for use in a catalytic oxidation or ammoxidation of propane or isobutane in the gaseous phase, and wherein the oxide catalyst is prepared by a process comprising mixing the Nb-containing aqueous solution with (an) aqueous mixture(s) containing compounds of active component elements of the oxide catalyst other than Nb, to thereby provide an aqueous compound mixture, and drying the aqueous compound mixture, followed by calcination. The Nb-containing aqueous solution comprises water having dissolved therein a dicarboxylic acid, an Nb compound and optionally ammonia, wherein the dicarboxylic acid/Nb molar ratio (.alpha.) satisfies: 1.ltoreq.(.alpha.).ltoreq.4, and the ammonia/Nb molar ratio (.beta.) satisfies: 0.ltoreq.(.beta.).ltoreq.2. By the use of the niobium-containing aqueous solution, it has become possible to produce efficiently an oxide catalyst which, when used in a catalytic oxidation or ammoxidation of propane or isobutane in the gaseous phase, exhibits high catalytic activity, and which, therefore, can be advantageously used for producing (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylonitrile in high yield.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a developer cartridge for exchanging developers in an apparatus which develops an electrostatic latent image, and an image forming apparatus using the developer cartridge. The developer cartridge has a first storage room for unused developer, a second storage room under the first room for storing used developer, openings in the first and second rooms and shutters provided therewith, together with a paddling mechanism in the first storage room for moving unused developer. The image forming apparatus has an endless latent carrier, a mechanism for forming an electrostatic latent image on the carrier and a mechanism for developing the latent image on the carrier. The developer cartridge is detachable positioned to the developing mechanism and a mechanism is provided for driving the shutters of the developer cartridge for exchanging used developer with unused developer.
Abstract:
In an image-forming apparatus, in which an electrostatic latent image on a photoconductive drum is developed by a toner accommodated in a container, a periodical exchange of carrier in a container is necessary. A method thereof includes steps of fitting a cartridge to the container, discharging all of an old mixture of toner and carrier from the container to the lower chamber, transferring fresh carrier from the carrier compartment into the container, and further, transferring fresh toner from the toner compartment into the container until a predetermined initial color density of the mixture is obtained.
Abstract:
A replaceable ribbon cartridge for printers is disclosed and which has a user controllable re-inking capability. The cartridge includes both an ink transfer roller and a drive roller, both of which contact the advancing ribbon during printing operations. Also, a re-inking roller is provided, and the re-inking roller is laterally moveable so as to permit the user to selectively move the re-inking roller to a neutral position wherein it has no substantial contact with either the ink transfer roller or the drive roller, to a first operative position wherein the re-inking roller is in substantial contact only with the ink transfer roller, or to a second operative position wherein the re-inking roller is in contact with both the ink transfer roller and the drive roller.
Abstract:
A homokinetic universal joint having an outer ring formed in its inner surface with three axial track grooves, a tripod member inserted in the outer ring and having three legs, and guide blocks pivotally and axially slidably mounted on the respective legs and received in the respective track grooves. The guide blocks are formed in each side thereof with a ball circulating passage having straight raceways. A plurality of balls are rollingly received in each ball circulating passage. The track grooves are formed at both sides thereof with raceway grooves extending parallel to the axis of the track grooves to guide the balls along the straight raceways.
