摘要： A computer-readable recording medium stores therein an information retrieval program that causes a computer to execute a retrieval process in which files to be retrieved are narrowed down by using a bit string for each character in the files to find characters making up a retrieval keyword to retrieve a keyword identical to or related to the retrieval keyword in the files to be retrieved. The bit strings indicate the presence of the characters in the files. The information retrieval program causes the computer to execute extracting, from among the bit strings, a bit string of an arbitrary character; and compressing the extracted bit string, by using a special Huffman tree having leaves of plural types of symbol strings covering patterns represented by a predetermined number of bits and a special symbol string having a number of bits greater than the predetermined number of bits.

摘要： A communication system limits use of compressed dictionary content stored in a mobile communication terminal to only the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal transmits terminal identification information to a communication server. The communication server uses the received terminal identification information as a master key to encrypt compression parameters and transmits encrypted compression parameters to the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal decrypts the compression parameters encrypted using the terminal identification information and uses the decrypted compression parameters to decompress the compressed dictionary content.

摘要： A sharp phase variation of a clock is suppressed when master/slave status of a first and second communication device is changed over. The first and second communication devices respectively include clock selection circuits and clock production circuits for producing a synchronous clock from the selected clock, respectively, and supply the selected clock as the synchronous clock to the other communication device which is a mating-side device. One of the first and the second communication devices is a reference selection side and becomes a slave side, and the other device is a mating synchronous clock selection side and becomes a master side. Respective data signals from the communication devices are bit multiplexed in a multiplexing device on the basis of the synchronous clock. The first communication device includes a delay circuit for delaying the mating-side synchronous clock by a phase difference between a clock transmitted from the selection circuit through the clock production circuit and a clock transmitted in the mating-side device from the selection circuit through the selection circuit and the clock production circuit. In this manner, both clocks inputted into the selection circuits are made synchronous by the delay processing, so that a sharp phase variation at the master/slave changeover is suppressed and the multiplexed output from the multiplexing device remains virtually undisturbed during a master/slave change over event.

摘要： An air/fuel ratio control system for an internal combustion engine that compensates, the amount of fuel supplied at engine starting based on lapsed time since the engine was operated and stopped. A lapse time from the immediately previous engine stop to the subsequent engine start is determined. Based on this lapse time, an increase value of fuel to be supplied into the engine's intake air by fuel injection valves is determined. This increase value is determined according to a pre-established of fuel temperature. The fuel supply amount is corrected upon engine start on the basis of the increase value.

摘要： A method of controlling decompression, wherein the method includes: transmitting, by a first computer that already has stored therein compressed data that are compressed based on compression parameters, identification information for identifying the first computer to a second computer that stores therein the compression parameters; and encrypting, by the second computer, the compression parameters using the identification information received from the first computer. The compression parameters include at least a frequency of appearance and an allocated sign for each piece of character data. The method also includes: transmitting, by the second computer, the encrypted compression parameters to the first computer; decrypting, by the first computer, the encrypted compression parameters received from the second computer using the identification information; and decompressing, by the first computer, the compressed data based on the decrypted compression parameters.
