    摘要: A mixed quartz powder contains quartz powder and two or more types of doping element in an amount of from 0.1 to 20 mass %. The aforementioned doped elements include a first dope element selected from the group consisting of N, C and F, and a second dope element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Sc, Y, Ti, Zr, Hf, the lanthanides and the actinides. The “quartz powder” is a powder of crystalline quartz or it is a powder of glassy SiO2 particles. It is made form natural occurring quartz or it is fabricated synthetically. The “quartz powder” may be doped. The compounding ratio of the total amount (M1) of the aforementioned first elements and the total amount (M2) of the aforementioned second elements as the ratio of the number of atoms (M1)/(M2) is preferably from 0.1 to 20. Al as well as the aforementioned doped elements is preferably included in a mixed quartz powder of this invention.

    摘要: A computer-readable, non-transitory medium stores a program that manages compressed file groups on a plurality of slave servers. The file groups include compressed files that are to be searched and have character strings. Each of the compressed file groups is expanded, using a Huffman tree that was used for compressing the compressed file group. A common compression parameter is generated based on appearance frequency, by summing, for each character, the appearance frequency in each of the compressed file groups. The expanded files are recompressed using the common Huffman tree such that sums of the access frequencies of the compressed files that are origins of the recompressed files are substantially equivalent among various slave servers. New archives including the re-compressed files are transmitted to the respective slave servers.

C. than a temperature at which the above raw material grain is melted at a temperature-raising speed not exceeding 50.degree. C./minute, then, slowly heating it up to a temperature higher by 10 to 80.degree. C. than the temperature at which the quartz raw material grain is melted at the speed of 10.degree. C./minute or less, and cooling after maintaining at the above temperature.

    摘要: In order to reduce concentrations of impurities in an inner layer of a quartz crucible for pulling a silicon single crystal which comprises an outer layer made of quartz glass and an inner layer formed on the inner surface of the outer layer, a migration-preventing layer is formed between the outer and inner layers, wherein the migration-preventing layer prevents migration of the impurities such as alkaline metals included in the natural quartz glass in the outer layer to the synthetic quartz glass in the inner layer. The method of producing a crucible using a mold with an upper opening comprises the steps of: feeding a first quartz powder into the mold along an inner surface of the mold to pile up the first quartz powder in a layered structure and form a preform of the first quartz powder; melting a part of the preform by heat radiated from inside the preform; cooling the preform to solidify and form a crucible substrate of an opaque quartz glass layer; generating a high temperature gas atmosphere inside the substrate during or after formation of the substrate; feeding a second quartz powder containing aluminum or in combination with an aluminum-containing component into the gas atmosphere and melting it in the gas atmosphere; settling the second quartz powder melt flying from the gas atmosphere on an inner surface of the substrate to form an aluminum-containing intermediate quartz glass layer; feeding a third quartz powder into the gas atmosphere and melting it in the gas atmosphere; and it as settling the third quartz powder melt flying from the gas atmosphere on the inner surface of the aluminum-containing quartz glass layer to form a transparent quartz glass layer with high purity.
