Abstract:
This invention provides a display module, an electronic device using the same, and a display method thereof. The display module used in the electronic device is used for displaying a status of an electronic element of the electronic device. The display module includes a light guiding unit, a plurality of light emitting units, and a control unit. The light guiding unit has a light incident surface and a light output surface. The light emitting units are disposed adjacent to the light incident surface. The control unit is coupled with the light emitting units and selectively uses one of a plurality of current combinations to control the light emitting units. Light emitted from the light emitting units enters into the light guiding unit from the light incident surface and passes through the light output surface to present a continuous display effect.
Abstract:
A multi-functional wireless control device includes an operating body and a receiving unit electrically connecting with a digital port of a digital processing device. The operating body includes a shell, a control module, an infrared module, a switch and a transmit module. The shell has remote operating keys and mouse keys disposed thereon configured for inputting the corresponding controlling signals. The control module is assembled within the shell to process the inputting controlling signals and transmit the processed controlling signals to the receiving unit for establishing communication therebetween by the infrared module and/or the transmit module. The switch is configured to select between the remote controlling mode and wireless mouse mode.
Abstract:
A system for real-time data surveillance in an oilfield operation includes a data collection system deployed at a well site for collecting oilfield data; an office-based computer system for storing and analyzing the oilfield data; a portable device, wherein the portable device includes at least one program for communicating with the office-based computer system, for surveying the oilfield data stored in the office-based computer system, and for causing the office-based computer system to perform a process implemented on the office-based computer system; and a communication system providing communication links among the data collection system, the office-based computer system, and the portable device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for fastening a data storage device, which is used to fasten a data storage device or module with a plurality of fixing holes. The apparatus for fastening a data storage device of the invention includes a housing, a driving plate, at least one lateral fastening plate, and an elastic member. As the driving plate moves, the lateral fastening plate is pushed to move laterally, whereby the locating pins move into or out of the locating holes on the sidewalls of housing to remove or fasten the data storage device. The data storage device can be fastened to a housing of a computer without screws, and a user can operate more conveniently.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a stable pharmaceutical formulation comprising an intimate admixture or admixture of crystalline or amorphous atorvastatin calcium, and a stabilizing-effective amount of a water-insoluble alkaline excipient or a combination of one or more water-insoluble alkaline excipients thereof, a stabilizing-effective amount of an antioxidant or a combination of one or more antioxidants thereof, and at least one or more additional pharmaceutically acceptable inert excipients or carriers, and a method for the preparation of the said formulation by wet and dry granulation. The invention further relates to a stabilized intimate admixture of atorvastatin calcium, a water-insoluble alkaline excipient and an antioxidant and a method for the preparation of the said intimate admixture by co-precipitation and co-milling.
Abstract:
Stable rare earth tris (organophosphate) solutions comprise a rare earth tris (organophosphate) and a hydrocarbon solvent. From about 2% to about 10% rare earth element, preferably from about 3% to about 8%, is present in the solutions. The rare earth tris (organophosphate) solutions are stable from precipitation of the rare earth tris (organophosphate) for at least about fifteen (15) days, preferably for at least about twenty (20) days and most preferably at least about thirty (30) days. A process for preparing these solutions is described herein. A stabilizing additive, acid, glycol or mixtures thereof, is utilized to inhibit precipitation. The molar ratios of free acid, glycol and/or water to the rare earth element are controlled to inhibit precipitation.
Abstract:
The invention provides a biosynthetic gene cluster for mitomycin, for example, a mitomycin biosynthetic cluster from organisms such as Streptomyces, for instance, S. lavendulae, as well as methods of using gene(s) within the cluster to alter antibiotic biosynthesis and to prepare a polyketide synthase.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for just-in-time data quality assessment of best records created during data migration are disclosed. A data steward includes tools for creating and editing a best record creation strategy that defines how records from multiple systems will be integrated into target systems. At design time, the data steward can generate best record creation and validation rules based on the best record creation strategy. The data steward can apply the best record creation and validation rules to a sample of matched records from multiple data sources to generate a sample set of best records. The efficacy of the best record creation rules can be evaluated by assessing the number of fields in the sample set that fail the validation rules. During review, the validation rules can be applied to edits to the best records received from a human reviewer to ensure compliance with the best record creation strategy.
