    摘要: A catalyst for the polymerization of olefins comprising (A) a solid catalyst component essentially containing magnesium, titanium, an electron donor compound, and a halogen which is prepared by contacting a magnesium compound, a titanium halide compound, and an electron donor compound, (B) an organoaluminum compound, and (C) an organosilicon compound and a process for polymerizing an olefin using the same are disclosed, the organosilicon compound (C) being represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or a halogen atom; and m and n each represents 0 or an integer of 1 or 2. A polyolefin having high stereoregularity and broad molecular weight distribution can be obtained in high yield.

    摘要: A solid catalyst component for polymerization of olefins, a catalyst for polymerization of olefins, and a method for producing an olefin polymer are provided. The solid catalyst component (A) is obtained by causing a solid component (a) containing magnesium, titanium, and a halogen atom to come in contact with an organosilicon compound (b) shown by the formula, [CH2=CH—(CH2)n]qSiR14-q. A catalyst for polymerization of olefins (B) is formed from an organoaluminum compound shown by the formula R2rAlQ3-r. A process for producing an olefin polymer comprises polymerizing olefins in the presence of the catalyst. By using the catalyst, a polymer which has high catalyst activity and stereoregularity and is excellent in maintaining activity can be obtained in a high yield.

    摘要: A solid catalyst component for polymerization of olefins prepared by reacting a titanium halide, a diester of aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a dialkoxymagnesium having a bulk density of at least 0.25 g/ml and an average particle size of 1 to 100 .mu.m. The average rate of temperature rise from the temperature at which the titanium halide is allowed to come in contact with the dialkoxymagnesium to the temperature at which the reaction is initiated is in a range of from 0.5 to 20.degree. C./min. Such catalyst can further comprise an organic aluminum compound and an organic silicon compound. The use of said catalyst makes it possible to efficiently obtain a polyolefin having a high stereoregularity, a high bulk density and excellent particle properties.
