Abstract:
A quick cooling device quickly cools a canned or bottled drink from room temperature. The quick cooling device has a case with an inside space divided into a cavity and a device chamber, and a door is provided on a front part of the case for opening or closing the cavity. Within the cavity, a cold accumulation pack contacts a bottled drink container, and the cold accumulation pack and bottled drink container are shaken together to cool the drink in the bottled drink container. A refrigerating system is provided in the case for cooling the cold accumulation pack.

Abstract:
There is provided a dewfall preventing device of a refrigerator for preventing dew from forming on the contact portion of a refrigerator case and a door, the device comprising a heat exchanger for concentrating the waste heat generated from a compressor with contacted to the compressor of the refrigerator and a thermosyphon, its two ends connected to the heat exchanger, and having a working fluid phase-transferred into a gas phase after heat-exchanging with the waste heat from the compressor, move along the hot line, vaporize the dew forming on the contact portion of a refrigerator case and a door by the radiation of the heat, transferred into a liquid phase, fallen down by gravitation, and introduced back into the heat exchanger.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising compound for induction of apoptosis, a method for inducing cancer cell apoptosis, a method to suppress lymphocyte activation, a method to improve intracellular trafficking of misfolded mutants and a screening method to identify additional compounds useful for inducing apoptosis, and more specifically, it relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising imidazole derivatives as active gradients for induction of apoptosis to treat various diseases including cancers and immune-related diseases, the method of inducing apoptosis by treating cancer cells with the pharmaceutical composition, the method of inactivating human lymphocytes by treating lymphocytes with the pharmaceutical composition, the method of improving intracellular trafficking of misfolded mutants by treating cells containing the mutants with the pharmaceutical composition, and the screening method for identifying additional compound useful for inducing apoptosis, wherein cells are incubated with the said pharmaceutical composition and detected.
Abstract:
A refrigerator includes a main body having cooling chambers for keeping food items therein, a base frame disposed to be movable in outward and inward directions in a lower cooling chamber disposed at a lower portion of the main body, and having a basket door at its front side, a lift frame disposed on the base frame, on which the basket is put, a fluid pressure cylinder mounted at the base frame and connected to the lift frame to lift the lift frame, and an fluid compressor connected to the fluid pressure cylinder by an fluid supply pipe and supplying compressed fluid to the fluid pressure cylinder. Accordingly, as the basket is lifted when being drawn out, a user can take out food items kept in the basket without bending his/her back, which enhances user's convenience.
Abstract:
A refrigerator is disclosed in which cool air ducts guide cool air from a freezing chamber to an ice making chamber provided at a refrigerating chamber door. The cool air ducts are provided at a barrier sectioning the freezing chamber and the refrigerating chamber and at the refrigerating chamber door.
Abstract:
An ice maker for a refrigerator includes a first shaft rotatably fastened to an inside of an ice bank, a second shaft fastened to an end of the first shaft and rotated by a driving motor, and a plurality of blades formed along a longitudinal direction of the second shaft. The blades are spaced apart a predetermined distance along the second shaft and have a spiral surface which acts to push ice as the second shaft rotates. The first shaft may be formed of a material such as steel, which has good torsional elasticity. The second shaft and the blades may be formed as one molded piece.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a refrigerator, in which cold-storage (1) and freezer rooms (2) are situated at upper and lower parts, respectively, in which ice made at the freezer room (2) of the lower part is dispensed at the cold-storage room (1) of the upper part, and by which a user can pick up the ice without bending over to enhance user's convenience. The present invention includes a body (B) having a cold-storage room (1) provided to an upper part and a freezer room (2) provided to a lower part, an ice maker (400) provided to the freezer room to make ice, an ice bank (600) receiving the ice made by the ice maker, and a transport mechanism sending the ice discharged from the ice bank (600) toward the cold-storage room (1) via an ice transport passage (200a, 300). Therefore, the present invention sufficiently secures the spaces of the cold-storage and freezer rooms to raise spatial efficiency.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a dispenser of an icemaker in a refrigerator for maximizing an inner space when a total size is the same, and for minimizing the total size when the inner space is the same. The dispenser of the icemaker in the refrigerator includes an ice chute being a passage through which the ice produced from the icemaker is discharged; and a container supporter provided at an outer case and disposed to be perpendicular to an outer surface of the outer case when the ice is discharged outside through the ice chute, the contain supporter allowing a container seated thereon to receive the ice discharged from the ice chute. The ice chute is closed and not exposed outside when the ice-discharging process is finished, and the container supporter is not exposed to the outer surface of the outer case.
