Abstract:
A service provider places a server at a data center and a service user searches a website, connecting a terminal to the Internet. When the service user specifies URL of a website server via a terminal accessable to the Internet, data of content stored onto the server is read out and transmitted to the server of the service user. Content has seven classified categories such as a membership registration, all-new information, product information, a service/support, an on-line album, an on-line shop and a community.
Abstract:
An image recorder has a storage for a visual broadcast program. The image recorder makes a question of whether or not the data of the visual broadcast program is to be automatically deleted from the storage after the playback of the visual broadcast program is terminated. The image recorder makes it possible to interrupt the storage of a selected one of a plurality of visual broadcast programs with the storage of at least another visual broadcast program continued. The image recorder is capable of recording both the data of visual broadcast program and digital image data from another source, the priority is given to the data of visual broadcast program over the digital image data.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a method for providing a print which is designated by a viewer, and whose print charge is paid by a registrant. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for providing a print. The method makes it possible for a digital contents purchaser to easily obtain a label or jacket suitable to the digital contents. Moreover, another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for each method described above. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for providing a print of a digital image registered by a registrant in response to an order from a viewer comprises steps described below. A first step is a step of receiving the digital image from the registrant. A second step is a step of registering the received digital image. A third step is a step of showing the registered digital image to a viewer. A fourth step is a step of accepting the order for the print of the digital image from the viewer. A fifth step is a step of producing the ordered print of the digital image. A sixth step is a step of billing the print charge to the registrant.
Abstract:
An image storage has a memory for digital image data of providers, a condition for each provider in storing the digital image being controlled in accordance with the history of use by image users. The image storage searches the memory for digital image data fulfilling a given condition set on the history of use. A type of printer suitable for individual production or another type of printer suitable for mass production is selected in accordance with the number of orders for producing prints. Printed matter such as a calendar is produced by a method comprising a step of proposing optional digital image data for selection by potential image users, accepting the selections by the potential image users, and deciding on a mass production of printed matter in accordance with the selections. The printed matter can also be produced in accordance with an individual selection of image user. The image user is informed of the total result of the selections of all the other image users to have a chance of changing its initial selection. A printed matter producing system has a container including a plurality of groups of sub-containers each keeping a plurality of sheets of print produced on one image source, respectively. The system also has a selector for selecting one sheet from a sub-container of every group, respectively, the option of the sub-container among every group being depending on an order by an image user. The selected sheets are bound into printed matter.
Abstract:
A print system receives an image file and a print order file from a customer, the image file having an image data area and an order data area. The print system copies information of the received print order file into the order data area of the received image file. The print system produces a print of the image data in the image file according to the information in the order data area of the image file. The print system has a printer capable of producing a print of a predetermined image data provided by a third party as well as that of the image data of the customer. The print system delivers to the customer the print ordered by the customer as well as the print of the predetermined image data. The print system selects a group of orders among all the orders in accordance with the destination of delivery for controlling the printer to give priority to the group of orders in producing the prints. The print system forbids the printer to produce the print of the image data of the same customer until a predetermined time. The order from the customer is made through a handy phone capable of controlling a digital camera through a wireless system.
Abstract:
A service provider of an electric bulletin board and electric album places a server at a data center and a service user searches a website, connecting a terminal to the Internet. A remark of the service user is carried in the electric bulletin board. The service user stores an image onto a memory of an electric album service. A demand for a browse of an image provide for the electric album service can be made through a display screen of the electric bulletin board. When an image is permitted to be browsed by a third party, a browse in the bulletin board is permitted, but when an image is not permitted to be browsed by a third party, the browse in the bulletin board is banned.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a digital camera system capable of transmitting image information suitable for the purpose of image usage in a peripheral. Special information in connection with an application program used in the peripheral is output to a digital camera, an image data processed in the digital camera on the basis of the special information is output to the peripheral, and the peripheral executes the application program by inputting the processed image data into the application program. The special information is the size of a character, the number of colors, resolution, and the like used in the application program.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a digital camera capable of outputting image information suitable for using by peripherals. According to one aspect of the present invention, a digital camera includes an input section that inputs special information related to using images by peripherals, a special memory that stores the special information in advance, a processor that processes image information to be an output image data in accordance with each peripheral on the basis of the special information stored in the special memory, and an output section that outputs the output image data processed by the processor to the
Abstract:
An image manager includes a communicator that communicates with a server computer storing image data, a detector that detects a storage capacity of image data stored into the server computer by the communicator and a controller that controls download of image data stored into the server computer in response to a detection result of the detector.
Abstract:
A camera includes an imaging element that receives transmitted light of an imaging optical system, a calculator that calculates focus evaluation value responding to a focus status of the focus lens based upon an output of the imaging element, a scan driving that scans the focus lens in a single direction along an optical axis, a detector that detects an absolute position of the focus lens, a pitch determiner that determines a lens movement pitch deciding timing to obtain the focus evaluation value at a given interval in response to an output of the detector during the scan driving, a controller that obtains the focus evaluation value every time the focus lens moves by the determined lens movement pitch during the scan driving and a focusing adjuster that seeks a focus point by evaluating focus evaluation values obtained by the controller and drives the focus lens to the focus point.
