Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for updating sequence and acknowledgment numbers associated with replay packets are disclosed. In one example, a method includes generating, at a sending peer node, a replay packet that includes a payload associated with a capture file packet and accessing, in the sending peer node, a sequence-differential (SEQ-DIFF) list using an original sequence number associated with the replay packet. The method further includes traversing entries in the SEQ-DIFF list, wherein each of the entries includes a sequence number and a payload length differential value, applying, for each traversed entry in the SEQ-DIFF list, the payload length differential value to the original sequence number to determine an updated sequence number for the replay packet, and transmitting, from the sending peer node to a receiving peer node, the replay packet that includes the updated sequence number.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for electronically delivering a prepaid card to a mobile device are disclosed. According to one aspect, the method includes receiving, at a merchant server, purchase information related to the purchase of an electronic prepaid card. The method further includes receiving, from the merchant server, electronic prepaid card information derived from the purchase information. The method further includes establishing a communications link with a mobile device associated with address data included in the electronic prepaid card information. The method also includes provisioning the electronic prepaid card information on the mobile device via over the air (OTA) communications.
Abstract:
A device for controlling an electrical current includes control circuitry, a micro electromechanical system (MEMS) switch in communication with the control circuitry, the MEMS switch responsive to the control circuitry to facilitate the interruption of an electrical current, a Hybrid Arcless Limiting Technology (HALT) arc suppression circuit disposed in electrical communication with the MEMS switch to receive a transfer of electrical energy from the MEMS switch in response to the MEMS switch changing state from closed to open, the HALT arc suppression circuit including a capacitive portion, and a variable resistance arranged in parallel electrical communication with the capacitive portion of the HALT arc suppression circuit, the variable resistance to dissipate a portion of the transferred electrical energy.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel crosslinked polyethylenimine (PEI) nanoparticle based nucleic acid transfection agent wherein the crosslinker is having carbon chain in the range of C2 to C8, ranging between 3.27-19.8%, having the size of nanoparticle ranging between 20-600 nm and zeta potential ranging from +5 to 50 mV.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method is provided for returning missed phone calls. In this method, a missed phone call is detected and a phone number associated with the missed phone call is identified. A physical button located on an apparatus is assigned to the phone number. An indication that the missed phone call is associated with the physical button is initiated and after which, a single selection of the physical button is detected. A phone call to the phone number is then initiated in response to the detection of the single selection.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are presented for providing resources by way of a platform as a service in a distributed computing environment to perform a job. Resources of the system, job performing on the system, and schedulers of the jobs performing on the system are decoupled in a manner that allows a job to easily migrate among resources. It is contemplated that the migration of jobs from a first pool of resource to a second pool of resource is performed by the system without human intervention. The migration of a job may utilize different schedulers for the different resources. Further, it is contemplated that a pool of resources may automatically allocate additional or fewer resources in response to a migration of a job.
Abstract:
A system for transferring data files between a host device and a secondary device can include a bridge device forming at least a portion of the secondary device. The bridge device can have a de-multiplex (de-MUX) data path with an input coupled to a host interface (I/F), a first output coupled to a storage I/F and a second output coupled to a processor I/F. A controller circuit can have control inputs coupled to receive configuration commands from the processor I/F and control outputs coupled to control terminals of the de-MUX data path. The controller circuit enables and maintaining a data path between the host I/F and the first output of the de-MUX data path for a predetermined number of data transfers in response to at least a first configuration data input.
Abstract:
A method and device are provided for scheduling an event. Text is detected in a text application of a computing device. The detected text includes at least one keyword from one or more types of keyword. At least one event associated with a user of the computing device to be scheduled based on the detected text is determined. The at least one event is automatically scheduled based on the detected text.
Abstract:
Selective durability in a directory database is presented. A directory database that provides durability processing includes a mechanism where selective attributes for directory resources can turn durability processing off. So, when a directory transaction is encountered having a durability processing turned off, the directory database processes that directory transaction without first flushing the directory transaction from memory to storage.
