Abstract:
An attachment for cleaning accumulated debris from a rake. An ejector member is pivotally mounted on the rake and a plurality of clearing members eject debris clogging the tines. A handle is connected to an actuating rod that is connected to the ejector member. A return spring is active between the handle and the actuating rod to return the handle to a nominal position.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a blanket assembly that permits a first user to collapse a first portion of the blanket assembly independently from a second portion, the first user being associated with the first portion and a second user being associated with the second portion. The assembly includes a blanket body, a separation partially extending into the blanket body from a first end of the blanket body, the separation separating the blanket body into a first portion and a second portion, and an attachment member coupled to the first portion and the second portion along the separation.
Abstract:
In at least some embodiments, an apparatus is provided that comprises a frame and a cover removably attached to the frame. The apparatus further comprises a geared latch assembly attached to the cover, the geared latch assembly having a geared latch. If the geared latch is rotated from a first position to a second position, the cover moves linearly from a closed state to an open state.
Abstract:
A system, method, and computer readable medium for fast database migration, that comprises, establishing a socket connection directly between intelligent processor unit nodes of the originating system and the terminating system, transferring home location register static data for the subscriber via the socket connection, wherein the home location register static data is transferred in parallel between intelligent processor unit nodes of the originating system and the terminating system and bypassing the platform manager nodes of the originating system and the terminating system and synchronizing home location register transient data between intelligent processor unit nodes of the originating system and the terminating system.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a variant of ultra-wide band (UWB) radar known as micropower impulse radar (MIR) combined with advanced signal processing techniques to provide a new type of medical imaging technology including frequency spectrum analysis and modern statistical filtering techniques to search for, acquire, track, or interrogate physiological data. Range gate settings are controlled to depths of interest within a patient and those settings are dynamically adjusted to optimize the physiological signals desired.
Abstract:
Fan cage assemblies for computer systems are disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment a method may comprise providing a single-enclosure fan cage to house a plurality of fan assemblies in a chassis of a computer system. The method may also comprise fastening the fan cage to the chassis of the computer system with a quick-connect latch system.
Abstract:
A fill block for injection of fluid through a hinged lid is improved by making the fluid pathway therethrough of a constant cross-sectional area, and by providing one or more rounded surfaces to reduce or eliminate impact and contact with surrounding structures when the lid is open and closed. Using a more durable and flexible material for the fill block and insert sheet increases the lifetime of both components and reduces or eliminates the tendency of these components to stress crack. Polycarbonate is one example of such durable and flexible material.
Abstract:
A method for forming a nanolaminate structure is provided which comprises plating a substrate with layers of substantially a first metal and substantially a second metal using an electrolytic plating process and controlling the plating current to obtain a desired current density at the cathode, which is maintained within a predefined range.
Abstract:
A merchandise display guard and seal system which uses a generally flat elongated flexible strip having a thickness and a pair of side edges defining a width, the width being substantially larger than the thickness. The strip includes a first fold line which is substantially parallel to one of the side edges and which provides a flexible section for dividing the strip into a sidewall section and a seal section; and a scored section, the scored section being at an angle to the first fold line and extending from one of the side edges, along the seal section towards the fold line, so that folding the strip along the first fold line and severing the scored section provides flexibility to the sidewall section, so that upon folding the sidewall section towards the seal section the sidewall section forms a concave boundary about the seal section.
