摘要： The disclosure concerns a rotor for use in a pulper for forming a pulp suspension through rotation of the rotor in a pulp container. The rotor is generally conically shaped. Around the exterior of the rotor wind a plurality of helical conveyor elements. Each conveyor element includes a flat surface that is oriented obliquely at an acute angle to the axis of the rotor, and the angle of the conveyor element surface with respect to the rotor axis decreases upwardly along the rotor. On the peripheral edge of the conveyor element at the bottom of the rotor, an additional vane is defined which extends outwardly of the conveyor element. The vane is tilted at a different angle to the rotor axis than the conveyor element and is typically more nearly perpendicular to the rotor axis. The outer peripheral edges of the conveyor element and of the additional vane are sharpened to define cutting edges and may be additionally clad.

摘要： An apparatus for purifying a fibrous suspension which contains contaminants of varying size and mass has a housing and a rotor for imparting a vortex motion to the fluid contained in the housing. Lighter contaminants are collected in the core of the vortex and travel generally on axis to an opening in the end of the housing. Heavier contaminants acquire radial velocity due to centrifugal force and migrate to the wall of the housing when the stream is deviated by nearly 180.degree.. The liquid then traverses a surrounding screen which retains further contaminants. Provision is made for comminuting specks and the like.

摘要： An apparatus for dissolving pulp and producing a paper pulp suspension for use in papermaking. The apparatus comprises a container having a stirring rotor therein and, in the area of the lower wall of the container, an outlet chamber to which is connected a dilution water inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. A plate connected to the stirring elements defines the upper extremity of an outlet space and has a plurality of radial ribs connected thereto and extending downwardly into the outlet chamber. As the plate is rotated, the ribs cause mixing of the suspension which flows downwardly into the outlet chamber together with the dilution water to thereby produce a suspension having a lower consistency than the suspension within the container itself. In order to prevent dilution of the suspension within the main area of the container, a retaining wall is provided on the lower surface of the plate at a position radially outward of the axis of rotation. This wall substantially impedes the flow of the more dilute solution and water between the plate and wall of the container into the main portion of the container itself.

摘要： Process for the disintegration and cleaning of contaminant-containing raw paper stocks. The process includes producing a contaminant-containing suspension, feeding the contaminant-containing suspension to a closed coarse screen, drawing of a cleaned flow fraction from the closed coarse screen, and drawing off an overflow fraction containing an increased amount of contaminants from the coarse screen during at least about 80% of an operating time. The process also includes adjusting a volumetric mass flow of the overflow fraction to at least about 15% and maximally about 50% of a volumetric mass flow of an inflow into the coarse screen, and feeding the overflow fraction to a screening device, in which contaminants collected are sluiced out discontinuously as a further overflow fraction, thereby forming a further cleaned flow fraction.

摘要： Fibrous stock suspension preparation systems include moving parts that generate a vibration impulse flow in the outlet from the preparation system. A counter-vibration impulse generator is connected to the outlet pipe and includes a correcting impulse recorder also connected to the outlet pipe for sensing the vibrations of the flow therepast and for sending a signal to the counter-vibration generator to control the amplitude and/or the frequency of the counter-vibration generator. 摘要： The disclosure concerns an apparatus for separating impurities from a fibrous suspension. The apparatus includes a tiltable housing having a screen basket supported coaxially therein. A rotor is supported inside the screen basket. The rotor has three zones. There is an upstream zone communicating with the fiber suspension inlet, and inlet in the upstream zone is into the interior of the rotor and then outward past sorting vanes formed at the exterior of the rotor in the first zone and inside of the basket. Downstream of the transport vanes is a second baffle zone defined by a closed drum having transport vanes on the outside thereof. The suspension and impurities are moved downstream by the transport vanes in the second zone. Downstream of the second zone is a third zone with further means for moving impurities downstream, comprising either a centrifugal impeller in the form of vanes or a helical ring. The impurities outlet from the housing is downstream of the rotor and at the other end of the housing away from the inlet. The outlet for purified suspension is outside the screen basket nearer the inlet. A weir establishes a level of suspension in the housing.
