    摘要: An ambulatory assist apparatus is configured to be mounted to a frame of a bed. The ambulatory assist apparatus includes an ambulatory assist arm having a first end portion and a second end portion configured to provide a handle, a mounting plate configured to be coupled to the frame of the bed, and a pivot pin for pivotably coupling the ambulatory assist arm to the mounting plate. The mounting plate includes a plurality of spaced-apart apertures. The apparatus also includes a locking pin coupled to the first end portion of the assist arm. The locking pin is configured to engage a selected one of the plurality of apertures in the mounting plate to secure the ambulatory assist arm at different orientations relative to the mounting plate. The apparatus further includes an actuator to release the locking pin from the selected aperture to permit pivotable movement of the ambulatory assist arm relative to the mounting plate.

    摘要: An acoustic liner jet engine inlet barrel is formed from a perforated permeable skin, a honeycomb core, and a solid facesheet, each of which is formed in a one-piece configuration such that at most only a narrow single fore-to-aft splice, or no splice at all, is present in the finished product. The acoustic modal content remains unaffected, thus preserving a high degree of liner effectiveness, increasing the total active acoustic area of the barrel while decreasing its weight, and increasing its durability.

    摘要: Programmable high speed state machines with sequencing capabilities based on a dual array structure with state information and fast sequencing logic placed between the two arrays are disclosed. The state section consists of multiple registered macrocells which are connected to function as program counters and decoders to the output array. The input array has feedback from the state registers and input from the dedicated inputs and input/output pins around the device. The inputs of the input array are all individually configurable as registered or nonregistered, with the inputs being divided into three groups, input/output, Mealy and simple inputs, with three enable product terms from the output array controlling the respective groups. Various additional characteristics, features and capabilities of the invention are disclosed.

    摘要: A wing skin is usually mounted to a support structure by using metal fasteners which cause high stress points and potential leakage points. The invention utilizes projections formed in a wing skin to mate with recesses formed in a support substructure which, when positioned together, form interdigitations which prevent sliding displacement of the wing skin. A plurality of sliding bars transversely pass through the interdigitating sections to maintain an interlocking relation. The transversely oriented bars enable the use of the invention with contoured wing skin structures.
